April 19, 20251 yr Monteverde certainly an interesting choice. Did a double-take when I saw his name. He is decidedly not major league material and topped out at AA. I suppose he was there to eat innings but it gave me shades of Jeff Lindgren levels of mediocrity.The only bright side to Quantrill and Gillispie stinking up the joint is that it will speed up the arrival of Mazur who has miles more potential than either of them.
