Someone remind Hicks that he’s a catcher for a MLB team. There are Junior Varsity catchers that don’t try to backhand that ball in the dirt.

I miss Fortes, the only REAL catcher we have before we trade him.

This weekend is a reminder that we aren't there yet. But we are way closer than we have been in a while. Honestly, if we got lucky with the perfect storm of things like we had in 2023, we could probably make the playoffs. But 84 wins are not gonna get in this time, and we did not have as much luck in 1 run games in the first half.

If we do things right, this team could be pretty competative for the next 3-5 years. Hopefully more.

Marlins twitter has turned on McCullough

He was absolute trash this series. Made every possible wrong decision there is to make and managed for tomorrow at expense of today. He managed his team out of WC contention.

Marlins fan since opening day 1993. This year’s team teased us and went on a tear after the break. But are about to lose 4 games to the 46-67 Atlanta Braves. Alcantra is no longer our best pitcher. His performances this year have been abysmal and because of this, his value is down the tubes.

Looks like Stowers has lost his stroke. He’s swinging through hittable pitches and letting the umpires get into his head.

McCollugh has been questionable about some of his decisions lately. Taking today’s starter out after 47 pitches was a head scratcher. The guy he brought in was a fastball/slider guy and put a couple in the dirt that should have blocked by Liam but he tried to catch’em with the glove and allowed a wild pitch? For a run scoring walk with the bases loaded. Argh!

I stopped watching after the three run homer by Ozuna.

Ya’ll didn’t really think the Marlins were gonna have good results in Atlanta did ya? This was always the outcome.

I don’t like our manager. At all. But Quantrill was flirting with disaster his entire outing. There’s a LOT to complain about pulling Quantrill isn’t one of them. That kunt Ozuna having his own fucking HR Derby this weekend was so predictable.

Pulling Quantrill was fine and he wasn’t feeling well apparently. Why did 4 of the best pen arms barely pitch this weekend is more the huge question. Why was zuber in the game? They had their entire pen rested since Clayton inexplicably benched them all yesterday too 😢
