April 29Apr 29 Conine when he went down was given a timetable of 6-8 weeks. That was 3 weeks ago. So, unless the timetable has changed, he should be healthly in 3-5 weeks. Maybe add another week for a rehab stint. So that gives Caissie 4-6 weeks to fix his strikeout issue or he should be optioned when Conine is back.
April 29Apr 29 People have gotten caught up on the errors because they are things you remember, but Lopez makes plays possible with his range that other guys don't get to and he makes a lot of plays look way easier than they should. Statcast literally rates this as his best defensive season (at least relative to his peers) so far in his career.

April 29Apr 29 Don't let Faucher on the plane. Leave him in LA. I can't say this enough. Clayton is the worst manger we've ever had. He's just terrible and has no feel for the game.
April 29Apr 29 Marlins went 4 for 24 with RISP and were one out away from a sweep of the defending champions.
April 29Apr 29 So, will MLB's twitter page post the X double play considering Shohei fucked up by not just standing on the bag?
April 29Apr 29 Also notable that the Marlins kept Marlins killer Freeman 2-12 with a pair of walks in the series.

April 29Apr 29 Why do they have so many unacceptable baserunning blunders?Amazing to win the series — go, team!
April 29Apr 29 As much as a lot of people want to be doomers about the Marlins, they have actually had one of the toughest schedules in the league. They have literally played more games vs teams on pace to will over 100 games than teams with a losing record. And the worst team thay have faced with a winning record is Detroit. Even if you exclude our sweep in Detroit, the Tigers still have the best home winning percentage in all of MLB. Even the Rockies and White Sox who have been the 2 easiset teams on paper have been a lot better than they were expected to be. And honestly the Marlins have made too many blunders to be really happy. They honestly should have a winning record right now even with the schedule. Edited April 29Apr 29 by FishFan95
