May 3May 3 Just 2 starts, but Paddack has an era of 13.50 at home vs 2.79 on the road (4 games, technically 3 starts).
May 3May 3 Also, the Marlins are 0-5 when Paddack starts a game. 1-0 when he comes in for the bulk role after an opener.
May 3May 3 BTW, those 4 road games would be at Yankee Stadium, at Comerica Park (where the Tigers have the best home record and a top 5 OPS in MLB, at Truist Field, and at Dodger Stadium. So that 2.79 ERA is against some tough competition. Also, I would note that the 2 teams that roughed him up in Miami were the White Sox and Cardinals. Surprisingly they are 8th and 7th respectively in road OPS. The Phillies are dead last in MLB at road OPS. Though I don't think we should put too much stock into road OPS stats 1 month into the season.

May 3May 3 Author I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Bendix has made a lot of very positive moves with trades and Dfa pick ups, but the luzardo trade was such a huge huge miss.
May 3May 3 Author Paddack throwing meatballs right down the middle or walking guys. Team in blow out out watch Edited May 3May 3 by pollythewog
May 3May 3 Paddack still being in the rotation instead of Garrett or Snelling, is just the latest proof that winning is not a priority for this owner/FO. Gotta get everything out of that $4 million I spent!

May 3May 3 He really didn’t need the infield single with the bases loaded and no outs with the way he’s struggling

May 3May 3 Author Paddack and Luzardo is a nice encapsulation that Bendix has made some terrible decisions during his tenure

May 3May 3 If the Marlins decided to let Eury start at home and Paddack start on the road, then we might have a chance.
