July 9 vs Mariners

Featured Replies

Junk had just 13 walks in 110 inning last year. 13 in 60 innings before the IL this year. Now back to back to lead off the game on just 10 pitches. Not great when we are facing a guy like Bryce Miller.

Why do guys get stolen bases when they clearly would be out if not for the error? It's not like they give you a hit if you only reached on an error. Naylor was dead to rights. Should be a non steal and 2 base error instead of a steal and 1 base error.

Both times the Mariners took the lead in this series, it was on a bad throw by the pitcher (wild pitch by Faucher in the game on Tuesday). Both times the Marlins immediately tied it with a solo shot leading off the next frame!

Has there been a bigger year to year drop off than Cal Raleigh. I know he has been hurt but guy put up Babe Ruth numbers last year and all of a sudden he turned into modern day Morel. Only comp I can think of is Chris Davis.

Oh god Faucher

I mean, it has to be someone. LOL I like Kempner but he didn't it have today. Thankfully, he didnt wait long to pull him.

Good first start back for Junk, not great.

I disagree on the “good” start.

4 walks and 2 errors in 5 innings. He luck boxed his way to only giving up 1 run the first 2 innings.

Anyway, GO MARLEEEENS c’mon!
