January 17, 200422 yr OT Giantsin04, did you make that picture? no, i have to admit I got that off of espn.com
January 17, 200422 yr Michael Moore is a fat, greasy dick. My dog is funnier than he is, and is probably more polite when eating dinner. you just don't like him because he tells the truth
January 17, 200422 yr Michael Moore is a fat, greasy dick. My dog is funnier than he is, and is probably more polite when eating dinner. you just don't like him because he tells the truth Oh that's rich. Check out spinsanity.org for examples of his dissembling, fabricating, and out-and-out lying. I'm a Democrat, and I enjoy attacks on Bush as long as they're logical and coherent. Moore is neither. And he is so not funny either. He just has no subtlety, and that's the mark of a media whore.
January 17, 200422 yr out of those dems pick al 2 best jokes of the week: when asked why dean never hired a black person to work with him in new hampshire, he told the reporter he never saw one....the reasonwe never hear about deans wife is because she doesnt like the spotlight. maybe she shouldve married dennis kucinich
January 17, 200422 yr Moore is a dick and a liar, but I find him entertaining. He's supposedly horrible to work with too, because my mom sells him to universities for speeches and he's a pain in the ass. The problem with the republican party is that it is not conservative. It is increasing spending and bureaucracy while also increasing tax cuts. It is deficit spending too. Guys, this isn't the newt gingrich republican party anymore, it's the spendocrat party now. I would never want a real libertarian running this country, he or she would be too extreme, but by voting for them, showing a demand for economic conservative will shift the focus of majority parties, and that's what's important, right?
January 17, 200422 yr where's the "my left nut" option? Dammit. Oh well. As for all those Democrats that were FL's governor, I suspect most of em were conservative.
January 17, 200422 yr well, for the past three days now, kerry has been polling ahead of dean in iowa. i really hope this doesn't mean it's the end of the dean ship. i get the feeling that iowans are tired of the smear ads and nationally, people are getting tired of constantly watching dean put his foot in his mouth. also, polls show people are perceiving him as too arrogant.
January 18, 200422 yr As for all those Democrats that were FL's governor, I suspect most of em were conservative. Outside of Graham, doubtful
January 23, 200422 yr ...people are getting tired of constantly watching dean put his foot in his mouth. also, polls show people are perceiving him as too arrogant. didn't seem to hurt Bush.... I like Clark too, but I'm just not sure how he'd handle himself in a one-on-one debate with Bush.
January 25, 200422 yr Where is the option for George W. Bush? It's only a poll for canidates who have an IQ of atleast over 80
January 25, 200422 yr Where is the option for George W. Bush? It's only a poll for canidates who have an IQ of atleast over 80 :lol
January 26, 200422 yr The only REAL DEAL in this election is John Edwards. Plain and simple, the man knows what he's doing. Dean is just a blowhard who acts like some kind of independent seperatist and madman to get the vote of the young swing voters who he needs to swing to his campaign, otherwise he's toast. Lieberman is an idiot and has no real stand on the issues, just a kinda sorta type guy. I don't want the democratic intelligence equivalent of Bush in office. Wes Clark is a 2 face. Back in March when he was one of the former Generals that was an analyst for CNN during the War in Iraq, he praised Bush and said what a great job he did, and now trashes Bush and how Iraq was such a bad thing to do, and saying also that he quote... "never supported the war in Iraq, it's that simple." I don't trust a 2 face in office. Kucinich is way to Liberal, and is Liberal to the point where he'd never let the Republicans state what their plans and proposals, because Kucinich is the type of guy who believes Only Democrats are right, and thats the bottom line. Sharpton, well his political views and ideas just don't seem fit for the White House. And not because he is black, I happen to hold him in high esteem and is one of the better candidates out there. But he just isn't good enough to fully understand what he's doing, and wouldn't stand much chance of beating Bush. Edwards- heres the guy that we need to get on to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave! The guy has gotten to where he is all off of hard work. He's young, he understands the problems of the Average Joe. He was a lawyer and listened to what the people wanted for 12 years and now he's taking action for those people. This guy is hands down the best candidate out there. Here's how I rank the candidates who have a prayer of winning the nomination (NOTE: that ranking is decided by who would make the best president, not who has the best shot at beating Bush)... 1. John Edwards 2. John Kerry 3. Wes Clark 4. Howard Dean
January 27, 200422 yr Well thats the least we can do. I'd love it if all you did was vote. Whether you vote Edwards, Kerry, Dean, Clark, whomever it may be, VOTE! VOTE! VOTE!
January 28, 200422 yr i was going to point out how ironic it is that the anointed frontrunner hasn't even received 1 vote in our informal poll here. fortunately, people are followers, so john kerry now has 1 vote in our poll.
February 3, 200422 yr Edwards is the strongest candidate out there. There must be some reason all the Republican insiders don't want to face Edwards. (its because they know Edwards will mop the floor with Bush)
February 3, 200422 yr Edwards is the strongest candidate out there. There must be some reason all the Republican insiders don't want to face Edwards. (its because they know Edwards will mop the floor with Bush) who qualifies as "all the republican insiders"? edwards can't even beat bush in polls taken IN HIS HOME STATE. he's quite possibly the most special-interest-plagued candidate of the entire field (ironic, right?), and you can bet the dirt will come front and center were he to win the nomination. of the entire field, i'd say kerry has the best shot at beating bush. remember that dean and kerry are the only candidates who opted out of federal matching funds for their campaigns, which means they are the only ones who aren't tied down by spending limits. if anyone else wins the nomination, they won't have a chance in hell at keeping up with bush's war chest. bush raised $131 million in 2003 alone! he'll easily have $200 million come convention time.
