We're on the new host

Welcome to the new host. You should notice an increase and speed and a decrease in errors/downtime now.

The site will be "marlinbaseball.com" again in URL's within 72 hours.

If you find any errors, let me know here.

the only difference i've noticed is the pages per thread are now separated in to like 15 instead of 25

this is new right?

All of our old settings stay true if we changed them on the old server correct?

Are you serious? I haven't experienced 1 second of downtime since the move.

Just before I posted, there was down time where I could not access the site.

Seems to be every other day or so.

usually when i post i get a message saying the server can't be found. after 2 or 3 tries it finds the server and posts.

On my computer there have been times where i could not access this site at all maybe once every two days for about 5-15 minutes. It comes up with that message that says that the server can't be reached or something I don't know and then it says you can push refresh or somethin. You know it has the big list made by microsoft or something. I don't know what that is called-not a computer whiz.

I know what you are talking about so it's ok. Thank you. This will help me address whatever the issue is.

This is not uncommon when switching hosts. Things take a bit to return 100% and settings need to be tweaked and such.

The site was down over on my end yesterday for a second or two. I got one of those DNS messages.

Good good, seems like everyone is having the same issue. I'll have this ironed out soon hopefully.

DNS issues are the common problem on the switchovers, some of them update VERY slowllllly. Apparently what I am connected to is completely switched over which explains my lack of problems.

Yea, the only time I had a problem with the new host was yesterday and that was for a few seconds.

I only had problems during the switch over. I had to temporarily bookmark the page (had a different address) until the switchover was complete. After that, the temp was no longer working, so Iwent back to the original without any problems.
