I'd have to say that Juan Pierre was the nicest Marlin I met... I met him about a few weeks ago at the Office Depot Grand Opening in Pembroke Pines. He signed a ball and photo each for my brother and I. He also signed my brother's mini bat. He took photos with everybody there and was just laughing it up and having a great time. I also had Wayne Rosenthal over my house this past season since our families are friends... He was a very nice guy and told a lot of interesting stuff I didn't know, like what they do before games in the back, how early they have to get there, etc.

I've met Beckett, Pavano, Penny, Bump, Spooneybarger, Neal, and Phelps. I think Tomyy Phelps was the absolute nicest. My friend and I met him last night and he took his time with us and talked to us for awhile. He hugged and kissed my friend. Maybe 'cause he's not that famous.

i talked to beckett once, during his blister problems back in 2002. he seemed like a cool guy.

Beckett was a nice guy so was AJ Burnett... AJ climbed out of the bullpen and into the first row to sign for fans at a game vs. Braves early in the season. Conine has always been nice as well.

Beckett wasn't rude to me. When I asked to take a picture with him, he said, "sure". Then motioned me to come closer to him to take the picture. He just wasn't overly friendly.

I'd like to meet Beckett again, I really only got to skid my clipboard and card across the duggout to him and say good luck. I'm sure he will accept all praise and compliments after his WS performance, I think it depends on the place and time when you meet players.

I really haven't met any of the players from the current team, but back when the marlins played ST up here Conine was definetly the nicest marlin I have met.

Samson was a huge ass-hole to me when I met him. The all-time nicest Marlin that I have met would be Bob Natal (remember the back-up way back, lol) but of the current guys Dontrelle is a good guy and so is Cabrera, both are real quiet and have just a total look of awe about being where they are so young. Granted Cabrera doesn't speak much English, but he is really nice and accomodating...
