Eat the slice of pizza but not the crust, then put the crust on eBay and say Michael Jackson ate the pizza but doesn't like crust and he left this on the table. GOLD 836410 :lol :notworthy

5. He is having serious mental problem. Well, he should. Every at bat he comes up, making that tortured look, and when he makes an out he makes a sort of "OMG, their kidnapping my wife and children as we speak" look. I say we trade him to the Orioles and make a run at Sweeney or some other bat.
6. Lowell is killing our lineup. Put Willingham, Easly, or whoever. Heck, even Nate Bump looked good on the plate compared to him.
7. It's a tough loss, but if we score runs like this we shouldn't lose much.
8. Damn WTF is wrong with that guy. Bench his ass.
9. This bench is going to waste. Lowell needs to sit down for a couple of games.
10. WTF is wrong with this world today.
11. Haha And you thought you could make an influence in government.
12. This rotation is very shaky without Burnett.

Pink Floyd members are already older than 60. It's not going to be as electrifying as when you saw them 30 years ago.

It's one of those Anti-Abortion campaigns.
15. ESPN News Ticker reports Josh Beckett will be pitching.
16. It's not about being pessimist nor positive. It's about being realistic. You are talking like everyone here is declaring the division won. You are no Guru I said everyone here seems to be declaring the division is won? Learn how to read peasant. 833412 You are the one that needs reading comprehension, I said "you are talking like . . . .". 833416 Well I'm not. :plain
17. We know what Beckett can give us. If we put Olsen, and he gets roughed up early, we're going to have to use the bullpen alot. Keep in mind Olsen had success against a dead offensive team (Devil Rays) but we don't know how he would fare against a better team like the Braves. It's a close call, because we want to see more of Olsen, but it would be "safer" to put Beckett.
18. He doesn't want to move, so just let him rot in NY.

That was Bill Robinson. :plain
21. Im just saying. Beinfest has to make some moves quickly. Like Tommy Hutton said: "You cannot expect a team at this level to win games if they are playing like that"
22. "More negativity....why can't you just can't have a good thing to say after such a great win!" (Guarantee someone will make that comment). But you are right, it is just another game in a long season, and there really is no one turning point, but an eventual rise of the offensive stats. As a said in a similar thread, if we can be 6 games over at the allstar break, we'll be in good position to make a push in the 2nd half. 833294 jesus what a killjoy... 833302 This win was like a heroine. Once the effect wears off, they go back to misery. Don't worry, I'll pick you up from the pub if we lose tonight.
23. Resurrecting our 1997 WS team hasn't gone too well for us, but I think we should do this trade. If we do this, our season is pretty much based on how good Leiter and Olsen do.
24. After the Marlins defeated the Atlanta Braves last night in a heroic extra inning affair, the chants and praises could be heard from all over the place, with threads like "Defining Moment" and comments like "OMG Dukey" or "This is the turning point of our season." Well, sorry to burst your bubble, but this is not the turning point of our season. Last night we left 17 men on base. As many of you can recall, we even had a man on third with 0 outs and failed to drive him in. That is a staggering statistic that clearly defines this team's inability to drive in runs. Sure, we won, but its one of those victories that can only happen against mediocre or injury plagued teams. We got lucky that the Braves bullpen went down to their last man, and we got even luckier with several breaks and bad calls, including one in the "Strike 'Em Out Throw Em out DP", in which the runner was clearly safe. You can bash me all you want, calling me a negative slut or whatever other names you wish. But those of you who truly know the game are aware that some serious changes have to be done. So please, save yourself some grief, and hold your victory chants until later when it's safe to say that we are a dominant team. We may have won the battle but we haven't won the war.
25. Fans need to go to the stadium with Fire Robinson signs.
