What do you all think??

I'd have to go with Beckett I think he has more experience against this ball club.

We know what Beckett can give us.

If we put Olsen, and he gets roughed up early, we're going to have to use the bullpen alot. Keep in mind Olsen had success against a dead offensive team (Devil Rays) but we don't know how he would fare against a better team like the Braves.

It's a close call, because we want to see more of Olsen, but it would be "safer" to put Beckett.

Olsen. Lets see if the kid is for real and that way we can eliminate the 5th starter question mark.

I voted Olsen because I do want to see what he can do some more, but I would feel safer with Beckett. I think either way, I will be excited to see what happens.

Beckett since the Braves are the harder team to beat. Olsen can face the Mutts.

Olsen please....

I voted Beckett...but I'm getting a really bad vibe about this game for some reason, like a "back to the DL" vibe.

Beckett -- if he's feeling all right.

Olsen.

Whoever is going to give us a win ;)

Olsen because Beckett doesnt need to reinjure himself

Olsen, because Beckett needs all the extra time he can get to make sure his finger is better.

World Series MVP or unproven rookie... hmmmmmmmmmmm....

Give Beckett another rest and let Olsen get thrown into the fire. The kid appears to have the talent, so let him go against the big dogs. Also, Beckett has lost like 3 straight decisions and is slumping so maybe an extra missed start will get his head right.

Beckett.

And BTW, the Rays are 6th in the al in OPS and in runs scored, not much of a "dead" offense to me. Olsen pitched a hell of a game for his first day in the show IMO.

People don't realize how good the Rays really are. They're a damn tough team, especially at the Trop.

Give me a break. The Marlins who are in a slump right now just swept them there. Their record is 27-52, and 19-23 at Tropicana. What makes you think they're a tough team?? Them and KC are the worst teams in the majors right now.

I hope your not being sarcastic Fritz. :-/

The Rays do play teams really hard. Most games are close, but the bullpen/pitching staff in general gives away alot of games. I give them credit, for having such a bad record they really go out there every day giving Lou 120%

I voted Beckett, but...........

I'd really like to know how he fared in his first outings after his numerous DL trips. If generally bad, I wouldn't mind seeing Olsen.

give bex more time to heal

olsen cause i wanna see if this kid is for real.

Well, I haven't watched that many Rays games this season, so I'll take your word for it. But the Dolphins played their butts off for Jim Bates, but still were awful...
