Moehler has been doing absolutely incredible! It sucks that this guy can't get more credit. Moehler would be up there if it weren't for the lack of run support that he receives. It's sad... :confused .

3. His step has gotten slower with age, I think he is 2 steps slower then last year. Him and Luis are both getting slower. Next year he is a free agent (most likely in NYY) so enjoy him while you can. 800897[/snapback] He's not getting slower... he's just getting bad leads. Please, the guy is still in his 20's and in great shape. There are guys much older than him, who right now seem faster than Pierre and aren't even in half the shape he's in.

fresh fish- No he's not. One game he's in, the other he's out, sometimes comes late into the game for a pinch run or a pinch hit... but Jack's seriously not playing him like he should. Pierre is an everyday type of player, that's what he's used to, that's what he wants. Don't mess with the kids flow.

JP is my favorite player on the team but, while he hasn't slumped as bad as Lowell, he's definitely having a disappointing year. As I can't watch games being out of market, I have no idea why. He keeps on pulling him IN and OUT of the lineup which is why it is taking much longer than usual for JP to get out of it. That's just the type of player he is. He needs to see some consistent at-bats to get his groove back.

I don't think anything major needs to be done. Lowell and Pierre will be just fine, and the line up will catch fire. We need some solid relief pitching and another starter.

This is why Pierre is slumping. He's not getting to play cosistently, theyre ruining his damn flow. Jack needs to stick with one lineup for a while... it's not good to "shake things up" every single game.

Simple question. What would you do to improve the way this team is playing right now? Not talking trades guys. Well, if it were up to me i'd rest Castillo some more and give Easley some playing time. It's obvious Castillo is still hurting, rest him until he is 100%. It makes no sense to be playing him right now. The speed isn't there and we can't risk him getting seriously injured. I'd stop sitting Pierre on the bench... it's messing his flow. That's just the kind of player he is. Give the kid some cosistent at bats... he'll snap out of it eventually. As for Lowell, man, i really don't know. He hasn't been himself this season. Obviously there is something very wrong. Maybe he's putting too much thought into this slump and it has him in some kind of mental melt down. Please try to keep this clean guys. No name calling if you don't agree with what a person says. It's their opinion, leave it at that and just state yours.
