Weeks ago, it was reported that due to budget cuts, Saturday Night Live needs to trim its cast by a few heads, even above and beyond the exits of 30 Rock's Tina Fey and Rachel Dratch. Just last week, TVGuide.com asked Snakes on a Plane's Kenan Thompson if any pink slips had been handed out, and he said no, but felt that he would be among the returneees. Now some unlucky names are starting to surface. Per the New York Post, last laughs may be in store for Chris Parnell and Horatio Sanz, while Maya Rudolph is said to be considering a voluntary departure from the late-night series. At press time, TVGuide.com's request for official comment from SNL had not yet been returned. UPDATE: SNL's spokesperson has no comment on these three rumored departures, indicating that the show will confirm the new season's cast closer to Labor Day.

such short seasons..... they split them in episodes of 8 over the Summer and Winter. Btw, the last two have been great. I'm glad they gave the shrink more air-time. But the whole son thing was unecessary.
