Trapped In The Closet
Ok, I'm usually not into rap and r&b, but I heard R. Kelly's "Trapped In The Closet Pt. 1"...and I downloaded it on iTunes...but I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get the other 4 parts...

The Talent Thread
I'm a Jazz/Classical Musician. I play clarinet, saxaphone, and bass clarinet well. I can also play a little flute and piano. My Jazz vocabulary is weak as I am relatively new to the world of Jazz (Started big on it only a year and a half ago). Even though I listen to it all the time. Classically, I am pretty good, though, my growth was stunted by half a year of a crappy clarinet teacher and another half of year of filling in on classical sax. Don't have any stuff. Though, I do compose and if you want to hear some of my stuff, just pm me. 828344 You play any rusty trombone?

Black Crowes concert
That's a Pink Floyd avatar, avatar quote, and signature. 828163 yes, I know. The point I'm making is that Pink Floyd has influenced the Black Crowes (especially in their jams) a good bit, and I was wondering if you too were into the Black Crowes.

I feel like Juanky may enjoy the Black Crowes. That's a Pink Floyd avatar, so....

Name a Good Song
Haha, Phish. I like some of their stuff, but I have trouble getting into them the way a lot of my friends do. Not exactly the same music, but close enough to throw in there is... "Hot In Here" by Widespread Panic (off the Jackassolantern album).

Black Crowes concert
two weekends ago I saw the Black Crowes in concert. I made the trek from Mississippi to Birmingham, AL. The North Mississippi Allstars opened (they are a blues-rock band), followed by Gov't Mule (another blues/Southern rock band), and then the Black Crowes. It's the best concert I've ever seen. Chris Robinson is one helluva entertainer. If you haven't listened to the Black Crowes before you should. If you haven't heard of them or don't think you know any of their stuff, you probably have and just didn't realize it. The song that plays on those ESPN commercials for that Poker fiction series (I forget what it's called, but it's by the makers of Rounders) is "Remedy" by Black Crowes. They also play "Hard To Handle" (originally by Otis Redding), "Twice As Hard", and "She Talks To Angels". You've probably heard more than one of these songs. Anyway, I was hoping for some reaction.

I've never been to NYC, but I know they've got great concerts at the Beacon Theatre (the "Live At The Beacon" Allman Brothers DVD is amazing)

10 Things Every Man Must Own
From a woman's POV, this list is so lame. It makes women look like picky, shallow, gold diggers. Please.... 1. A top-notch coffee/espresso maker Like I give a damn if you have a coffee maker or not. 2. A lamp in your bedroom Again, like I give a damn. 3. Swiffer Sweeper + Swiffer Cloths + Swiffer Wet Cloths Of course you gotta be clean. 4. A comfortable couch *yawn* 5. Nice underwear Now this, I kinda agree with. Tighty whities look funny. Don't go commando. It's weird. Be clean.... PLEASE. 6. A key-ring that can fix, cut, and open anything *yawn* 7. $150+ jeans Why be so picky? Geez... this makes us women look like gold diggers. I don't care if your jeans are KMart brand. Just be clean and look decent in them. 8. $200+ dress shoes Read #7. 9. 300-thread-count cotton sheets *yawn* 10. The Joy of Cooking A guy that can cook is nice, but not a priority. 822227 Thank you Miri (except for #5 )

10 Things Every Man Must Own
You have quite a way with words 820970 I'm pretty sure I'm right. I mean honestly, there's got to be something else in this world that attracts a classy woman. $150 dollar jeans, $200 shoes, coffee makers, the proper home decor...that's not going to do it. It may work for some. It'll work for the people that have little else to offer a woman....that is, what what should really count. It sounds sappy, but it's the truth. I don't want a girl that's gonna be into me because of my metrosexual jeans or because my blinds match the carpet and couch. IMO, that type of girl isn't classy.

10 Things Every Man Must Own
or you can land a solid woman by other means. Such as: a) A classy woman knows to not look at jeans. Jeans are used for work outside. When dressing nice (I assume one doesn't wear a ratty t-shirt with $150 diesel jeans), a classy woman would prefer a man in khakis (not cargo pants, jeans, sweatpants, etc.). b) Coffee is lame. You may drink it, I may drink it, she may drink it. But having a coffee maker to attract a woman is weak. Do something MANLY to attract her...not something that she probably has in her house. c) Home decor? Keep it manly and plain. Decorate walls with Black Crowes posters Big Lebowski posters. Ladies like home decor...not guys. You might land yourself a nice broad with cutesy home decor techniques. Unfortunately, that means you'll be looking over Martha Stewart books while drinking your home-brewed coffee/espresso until it's time for her to get back to her man with caloused hands and a two-day scruff who's gonna rock her world in the sack that night. d) Underwear? Who wears underwear? e) Dress shoes? Ok fair enough. Wear em with a suit though. Don't go wearing them around in less than semi-formal occassions. And just because women are into nice shoes, it doesn't mean men should attract the fairer sex with such shoes. No self-respecting man lands a classy woman by discussing "How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days". f) Sheets? Whatever's most comfortable for you. $120 bucks seems like a waste on sheets, but whatever. While your woman is thinking about sheets, my woman will be thinking about who's in those sheets. g) and finally, cooking? That's for the broads. No, I'm just cooking. But honestly, grill something. That's what men do.

Sounds like a recipe for success....if you're a metrosexual.

FSU QB Goes Mental
Under Steve Spurrier, the UF won the award for cleanest program in the SEC (every year he was there!). I know, even the Rebs weren't as clean haha But really, UF may have had a bad distant history (20 years ago) with Charlie Pell, and a questionable NCAA decision to put them back on probation under Galen Hall...but under Spurrier (as much as most people can't stand him), they were pretty damn clean. Zook's gotten them into trouble, and it'll be interesting to see what Meyer does to clean it up. No one can doubt that under Bowden in the 90s and 2000s, the program has had a plethora of dirty players.? I'm not saying the program is dirty, but there are a lot of dirty players.? Same with Tennessee.? Maybe that's why Cutcliffe decided to come to Oxford. 811379 Couldn't you say that about every major football program in college football? FSU has never been penalized by the NCAA so obviously they aren't doing anything too egregious. 811389 for a program to be penalized by the NCAA, they would have to break NCAA rules such as issues dealing with education, paying, recruiting, boosters, etc. I'm talking more about issues such as 3/4 of their starting DBs in 2001 being previously arrested for the likes of weed, soliciting prostitution, etc. I'm talking about kids getting in trouble at Dillards, Foot Locker, etc. Yah it happens everywhere. I'm not defending UF by any means (hell, I don't hate em...but I sure don't like em). They've got their Jabar Gaffneys and Channing Crowders. It just seems more common at FSU. That's just an outsider's view.
