Great to see Cabs on 3rd for a second straight game. Jack is getting the message.

I think Cabs is good on #3 so that he has Delgado behind him. If not he won't get too many good pitches to hit plus Delgado is doing well lately which helps.

He is a star but still has tons to work on..... hard to beleive he still needs more work and is putting up the type of numbers he does.... I really don't understand the support for Pierre, yet hatred for Lowell. . . . The media fell in love with Pierre in 2003, but the truth is he was never a great leadoff man. Even at his best his OBP numbers are not great. IMO he is overvalued right now and we would be better off trading him and going with a Kotsay type. THe big problem with depending on Luis at leadoff all year is his durability. When he plays he's the best leadoff man in baseball, but the poor guy looks horrible this year every time I see him. I love that he's not a puss like most baseball players and plays through the pain. A Kotsay type would fit nicely in at #2 and could leadoff if we needed it. 907908[/snapback] I agree, couldn't lowell be back to what he has done the past years? He is having an off year too like pierre and can turn it around anytime. I wouldn't want to see lowell come back to his #s for another team and we'll be paying most of his salary. Don't forget what he has done for us in the past.

Unbelievable, I was thinking on getting the flex 10 ticket plan for $90 just to get priority for playoff tickets but hearing how they are handling this I surely won't.

Pitching is the key to winning. In the long run the best pitching team comes out on top. Let's hope this is the case here. The offense will come if the starters keep doing that great job and the bullpen don't f*** things up.
