Actually, I didn't like them at all. They took a turn for the creepy, and I'm more of a sucker for redheads then blondes. Yeah...Not buying that, but whatever. Care to inspect my hard drive to see how many blondes are on my computer cache? Not into blondes, and after the first two I can probably vouch for everyone here your obsession was borderline criminal stalking. Criminal stalking? There was a picture of her on a Marlins website with her name under it. I then searched the name on Google and found all the "super private" pics she made public on her Twitter account. End of story. Just because she was negligent with her private information and photos doesn't give you free reign to oggle her and say Oh yeah, that's how I like them. No imperfections here. Cream of the crop. over and over again. I bet she can have a restraining order placed on you and criminal charges with everything you posted in that thread.... a conviction may be another story, but the groundwork for a arrest warrant/restraining order is there. Someone else may want to chime in, but I'm not off base here in my assumptions am I? it's 2:30 AM, so I may be but I believe I am right.

Anything being Team Store, Kiosks, food places. Not people. Even so, we didn't need to see a hot dog stand from 60 different angles. LOL You guys crack me up. And we definatly didn't need you going into PI mode and locating her private photo accounts and posting them. Last I knew, she doesn't even work in the clevelander anymore. Oh please. Don't act like you didn't enjoy those photos. Anyway, think you might be right about her not working at the Clevelander anymore. Actually, I didn't like them at all. I'm glad no one on the board dislikes me so I don't have to worry about the number of "likes" on my profile. :| If I had the opportunity, I'd go back and dislike every one of your posts in the stadium picture thread, Mr. Spamalot. Seems like Mike & Dr. Beinfest who "liked" your post feel the same...yet that thread is in the "Hall of Fame." Weird. It was the only way we could kill it off. You can't add to a Hall of Fame thread when it's buried 6 feet under. I don't believe Ive even seen the HOF threads/

Hanley's like that girlfriend you once had who never gave it up, but becomes a slut a month after you break up with her. Just forget it and move on. Who's hanleys best friend and how fast can we get him drunk? We all know who Hanley's best friend is.

WBC @ Marlins Park: Who are you rooting for?
I own a Cuban jersey from the 06 classic and get nothing but thumbs up and compliments wherever I wear it! How nice, I own a Cuba hat I got at Tj Maxx for 5 bucks. My car got egged when I was parked at Winn Dixie.... the security guard smiled when I asked WTF he was doing when it happened. Go Figure. I wonder if he was part of these boards.

If Cuba plays down here then we will finally see this ballpark sold out A decent amount of people to boo the Cuban team. Why? The athletes are not politicians. It's not their fault that Cuba is run by communist monsters. Because when a lot of Cubans (especially older Cubans) see that team, they think of this guy. Because Fidel loves baseball and has always associated the team with himself, many people see it as Fidel's team. I don't know why, but I have an image in my mind of this being the last thing I see when I climb the fence beyond the sand lot to get my ball.

And One For each of you, YAY!!! LET'S REABUSE THE SYSTEM. In all seriousness though, it's a cool feature to be able to like things. ThePhins.com Forum does the same thing, and it's actually a cool concept, it rewards those who put effort into their responses. The Negatives, it only allows others to abuse it. No one cares if you like a million things, but when it's easy to pick on members you obviously don't like- it can get messy. I can only imagine what I would do if the CBL were still around and we were drafting. How many downvotes would I get for taking all the prospects?

Contrary, penguino. There was a specific poster who deliberately went through and down-voted all of my posts that he could find over a 3 day span because I upset him, totaling something around -30 or -40. It sounds immature, childish, etc., sounds like nobody would do that and all... but people are immature and childish. And people would do that. Contrary, penguino. I personally hope he gets caught with PED's three times. He's arrogant enough where he probably thinks he can get away with it.

Who is going to renew their season tickets next year ?
To add to what was said above, I forgot the word "Family's" military background. You'd have to be a fool to think a father who conducts himself in one manner wouldn't rub on on their children in some way. If you read the article about Lomo and his father from ESPN a few months or a year back- you'd see what I mean.

The Franchise
Now that Hanley has 10 RBI in his last ten games. He's on pace for 22 home runs and 97 RBI. So he's getting paid $15 million for two years to be Aramis Ramirez. I like this trade more and more. hes worth that money if he puts up those numbers. it just wasnt going to happen here. doesnt mean he isnt a good player. He's worth 15 Million at a 300 average with 25+ HR and 100+ RBI's He's worth 4 Million at 240 with 22 and 100.

Who is going to renew their season tickets next year ?
Nice tickets on stubhub go for pennies the day of I picked up two tickets on stub hub for 60 last night (For the 8/15 PHI game) and sat 6 rows up in section 10 by home plate. Definatly seats can be had cheaper, but the trick is to support the team with season ticket sales WHEN it is convienent. No point in over extending your budget. I got season seats in 324 this year, but upgraded my opening day tickets to section 7 and just moved around the other games. They weren't exactly strict if you werent greedy on where you moved to, they partially encouraged it. I moved from section 324 to right on the LF line one game (Pirates). You can also go to guest services and pay for ticket upgrades, which I've done twice as well. Stub hub is an excellent resourse, expecially for early day games and weekday games. I took pride in buying season seats, and face it- that stadium is beautiful. Any seat in there is worth going for. It's never been a secret that they base the payroll ALOT on how season tickets go. They can make educated guesses on other income off that. Food, parking, etc..... "Money coming in will equal money going out." They live by that, and I think it is a smart move. It's a biz. You can tell just from this thread that what I have been saying all year is probably going to happen. Season ticket sales will drop quite a bit next year. This year's team not panning out will have something to do with it, but it was inevitable for many other reasons. I don't see the payroll ever dropping to what it has been in the past, but I think it will be quite some time before it reaches what it was Opening Day this year. I hope they surprise me. I don't know, one part of me says they are likely to reinvest in players this year trying to find a roster that looks good on paper and has a track record of "Professional" success. Hanley may have been a success at one point, but he was hardly professional. Jose Reyes seems to have been Hanley's Antithesis. Buerhle is a consummete professional, and he was low risk in my mind, we need more of that. Michael Bourn fits that pedigree if I remember correctly. Possibly Josh Hamiltion however he is battlng his own demons. Players we sign long term should be mature, Hanley was anything but. LoMo is immature but capaple of pulling it together with his military background. Stanton's already there. If only David Wright would slow down to a .180 hitter the rest of the way, I'd love the Mets not to use their option and Mr. Met become the next Mr. Marlin.

Autographs
As surprising as this may sound, it really depends on the quality of the autograph as well. Pull that sucker out of the deposit box long enough for a photo so we can see it. If it's signed "Mike" eventually it will be worth a little bit more then a Giancarlo autograph since it's considered a "Early" autograph. For example, heres Mike Piazza's Rookie Signature. Here's his later years, say 1999 to 2005 when he was getting hounded for autographs, notice the sloppyness- and heres a current one- from a signing in january

Hayes to AAA, Brantly selected
Did the Marlins screw up and issue Conine's 19 to Brantly? I thought that number was taken out of circulation in respect to both Conine and Lowell? I can't remember another Marlin wearing it since 2005 Edit: NVM, just hit me it's been issued to Logan Kensing and Anibal since atleast.

Just read that Justin Ruggiano is our emergency 3B behind Dobbs and Green. Lets see what he can do at 3B!

Let's talk Ruggiano
Why not have Lomo bounce back and forth between LF and 1B playing 5 games a week in a platoon with Ruggs and Lee? Lee's older, could use the 2-3 days off a week and Ruggs hasn't played against lefty? pitchers all year. Play him as an extra OF 3 days a week and a 1B the other two. He'll get his playing time and if he earns it, he'll get a starting job at 1B the next year. Not saying I want it to happen, but it is a scenario where all 3 could stay. What are you saying? I know they've tried to sit him against Lefty's or Righties, not too sure which. The ? was more of a "Am I right or wrong" type of thing. Didn't exactly convey that. It might have been early in his career here. Either way, Lomo should be in a platoon on the ML club if he's serviceable until he can become a legitimate threat at the plate. I'm tired of seeing players like Peterson and Cousins called up to be our 4th OF when all they could provide consistantly is defense. As much as I like them, I'd like to see a bat in the 4th OF slot, and Lomo could use the playing time. I can see Ruggs being a .270 hitter with 25 or so HR and a 330 OBP, which is serviceable in our OF. I don't know if we can get 25 HR out of Lomo.
