7/8 Post Game
Why Edwin? McKeon is the one I miss. Overall I don't think the manager makes a big difference, but I think that McKeon would have definitely kicked Bell out of the closer's role by now. And if that had been done, I absolutely think that the Marlins would have a measurably better W-L record. Ozzie is a loose cannon and yells a lot, but I don't think that he has McKeon's balls. I know it's just speculation, but I have trouble thinking that if Jack has a history of pulling relievers in the middle of ABs that he would really just sit there and watch Bell blow game after game. Ozzie just seems to make excuses for Bell and has the blind hope that he becomes lights out again. One of the reasons why I was apprehensive about bringing Ozzie to Miami was the way he handled Bobby Jenks sucking in 2010. Now he didn't suck nearly as bad as Bell has, but he did stumble a lot in the closer's role. Ozzie--I kid you not--literally used our two favorite phrases "He's my guy" and "this is a better team with Jenks as closer." I'd love to see Ozzie enjoying some suds in the dugout DURING the game much like trader jack did in Oakland smoking that cigar in Oakland by the no smoking sign. (although I think it was pregame) The marlins spent 27 million on the guy, and his personal life must be in the crapper with his wife and kids in SD and his father in failing health, you don't just pour more pain and misery on his life with a demotion when he HAD been proven. Send him home for a bit to be content until the end of the season. Ozzie should just go crazy already- and Beinfest should make a few trades and sign Bobby Jenks to have Ozzies mind reeling- which one is gonna be his guy. K-Rod is available- why not? Deplete the farm except for Yelich- get'r done! I have absolutely no pity for this guy. I don't care what is going on with his family. Cabin your personal life and do your job. The only way Bell wins his way back in my mind is to donate this year's salary to charity. It won't make up for the f*** ups, but it will show me that he truly feels remorse for his horrendous year. Then you have no heart- I'm not excusing his performance- im feeling sorry for the guy on a human level- Move 3000 miles from your family, have your father in failing health while you travel 15 days every month and then get back to me. I'm sure your professional life will be in the toilet too. One of those I can understand resentment- both of them I can truly feel sorry for him. Money doesn't always make people whole.

7/8 Post Game
During an interview with Zaslow last week, I remember hearing Beinfest say in the first round you go for the high ceilings and in the rest you draft the sure things- makes sense. And you can't call Coghlan a bust- he won ROY, he's a disappointment if anything. Does Beinfest get enough credit for dumping Lowell's horrible contract and Beckett on BOS and getting H2R and Anibal? Or the fact he got Nolasco for Pierre? The Cabs trade sucks, but stuff happens. Hindsight is 20/20

Not forgetting he got McKeon as well. So one experience gives him a free pass for failures in almost every draft, trade and FA signing since then ? You're a cop right ? Say you save someone's life early in your career. Get commendations, key to the city, etc etc. Then you start making mistakes, like getting your partner shot, not staying on your patrol, crime goes up on your beat. Do you think you'd keep your job ? Same with Beinfest, why does he continue to get a free pass, year after year. His complete botching of the Cabrera trade & blowing five 1st round picks in 2005 should have cost him his job then and there. Old timer- PLEASE tell me where the hell he said Beinfest deserves a pass. I don't think I missed him saying that.

The 2003 team was as much Beinfest's as Dombrowski's. Conine, Pierre, Encarnacion, Rodriguez, Willis, Pavano, Redman, Fox, Urbina, Spoonybarger, Hollandsworth, Mordechai, Williams Called up cabs too from AA, that takes balls and wasn't a popular thing to do back then.

Thoughts on the first half and moving forward.
No need to have a fire sale. Team is 41-44 and in 4th out of 5th in NL East. Phillies are lol 37 lol 50 lol. They suck and it makes me happy, yeah I said it. This team is a playoff team if you replace Bell. f*** him, I honestly want him released. Team is over .500 without him blowing saves like a ASSHOLE. Now the team does have issues. 2013? Move LoMo to first. Lock-Up Stanton. Trade H2R, I don't give a f*** trade his ass. Team can get something pretty good for him I imagine. Let Ruggz, Petersen, Cousins battle it out for LF 2013, Then trade one of them for what you can get. I imagine Cousins would be dealt. Boni at CF of course. Fix BP. Trade Anibal. I don't give a f*** no more. Need BP help. Prospects. Line-up: No order. aka the starters. 1B-Lomo 2B- Infante. SS-Reyes 3B: FA. RF- Stanton CF: Boni LF: Ruggz. C: Buckless Bench: C: Hayes. Yes, I said it, deal with it. OF: Petersen OF/IF: Dobbs Minors/FA Minors/FA SP: JJ Marky B Nolasco Anger Management Minors/FA BP: Who gives a f***. Peace out, I got homework to do dawgz. To piggy back on this, I'd love to trade Hanley for Upton and Drew if we could from ARI, they are disenfranchised with both of them and they could use a change of scenery- all 3 could really. Who said the dbacks are disenfranchised with them? And even a bad Hanley has better production than drew. The owner has already come out and said he didnt believe drew was still hurt and that he was tryign to make sure he didnt lose FA money coming back hurt. He also said for what they are paying upton he should play better and i believe he said he wasn't tryign hard enough. Not to mention they just booed upton in his home park after a 0-5 leaving 4 lob. So basically your trading one lsupposedly azy uncaring player(Hanley) for another (upton). Can't wait for the banter if we got upton. True- but Atleast Upton can play CF, lol.

Help end the Diamondbacks suffrage; tell them to trade Upton and Drew! Think of the pitches hanley would get to hit at the BOB.

Difference between...
Motel is a no-tell, a place where most people go to have extramarital affairs and pay by the hour. Some people not from the area stay there because of how cheap it is, but usually others in the Motel are Escorts and Drug addicts looking for a place to operate. Usually a one floor type place with 20 or so parking spots. Rates are 25-40 bucks for 2 - hours or 50-60 for a night. The fact they rent by the hour is why most people go there to screw when they can't do so at their own homes. More illegal pleasures then business men (If any). No names given, no ideas usually checked. You could give an alias easily with no Credit Card needed for deposit. Think the places on SW 8th street by the palmetto and towards the new stadium. Usually a hotel is a few stories tall, a bit more expensive (think 69-100 bucks) and is a little cleaner and presentable. Usually. Has 60-80 parking spots at the least and no opportunity to rent by the hour. Usually you go to a hotel on a extended family vacation. More Business then pleasure. Needs a credit card on file, and a license incase they need to get to you. Think in suburban areas where there is a decent amount of newer business like publix and such. This is all really interesting. So now I wonder, why would a dentist take their kid there? :glare Wait, I think I'm lost. Where did the dentist come from?

Hanley hurts himself
I'd like to see Ozzie go into a 1998 Leyland like tirade where he demeans every single position player in the clubhouse, then pulls a billy martin like tirade right after where he flips over the buffet table and says dinner is served. If he flip over the buffet table, bell would be very upset. *flips the buffet table* Bell: HEY! Ozzie: SIH THE FUH DOWN YOU FA-AH FUH, YOU A HUGE PART O TIS! Bell: ... *sits down* Ozzie: Dinner ih serd. THIS Did I do the accent right? The accent was good enough, now if we can shoot it in time to make the final cut of the Franchise.

Top ways to get rid of Heath Bell
I wouldn't mind an "injury" situation with two weeks off for him and a rehab stint after Oviedo/Nunez comes back. Gives him some time to go home, see family and take care of his personal issues (his Fathers Illness) and then come back after he gets his stuff together. I would even do it now if we think we have a bullpen arm who can slide into the CL role for a bit. Cishek or maybe Dunn or Webb? (Can't remember if it was Dunn or Webb who did well last week when he came back out)

I would like the forum board to know... I hate Hanley the most. Sorry, I think I take cake on that one. And this fatty loves cake.

Top ways to get rid of Heath Bell
1) Travel back in time to prevent the Marlins from signing him 2) Tell him that the All Star Break has been extended until October 2014 3) Tell him that there's a shortage of food in Miami Trade him to the Mets in a "Delayed" Sign and Trade.

Stanton out of ASG, surgery Sunday
Season isn't over untill the seasons over, y'all need to cut that bull shit out. With Stanton out 4-6 weeks, it's, uh, going to be extremely difficult to say the least. He's the only elite hitter in a lineup that's been very crappy (especially when you exclude his production). Then if the front office feels make another move. I'm not giving up halfway through the season at this point.. You never know. Our other guys may break out and start hitting better. There's just to many things that can happen. If we were out of a wildcard by 8 plus games maybe but it's too close to call at this point. Now's Hanley's time to reprove this is HIS team, lets see what he does with it. Ever since Stanton and Lomo came up he seems like he hasn't been in the limelight MLB wise. He'll probably get better pitches to hit now. Probably- alot better- With Carlos Lee behind him and you in his ear.
