  1. If that was the reason they never admitted it. They probably wouldn't have acquired him to begin with had that been a big enough issue. Piazza, I suggest you do some research yourself and see what the FO had to say. The only thing I ever heard them say publicly was he won't play third base, we need a third baseman, so we are trading him to Tampa. Research is for those who don't know shit. You don't know shit.
  2. Or they wanted to move all the money they owed, [deleted].Of course that replacement couldn't have been Escobar because he was also making money, so he was flipped to Tampa and Hech was given the job. . So you say you know why he was traded, but you spew this non factual shit? Good to know. WildCard Gonna WildCard
  3. I don't have to, I remember. They asked him to play third, he said no thanks, they sent him to Tampa. You remember nothing.
  4. I know why he was traded, he wouldn't play third base. Players will play where you make them. See: Ramirez, Hanley Look again.
  5. Or they wanted to move all the money they owed, with Reyes being $100 Million of it, and needed a cheap replacement for him. Of course that replacement couldn't have been Escobar because he was also making money, so he was flipped to Tampa and Hech was given the job. I really, REALLY, REALLY doubt that they traded Jose Reyes just so they could get Hechavarria. In fact, I'm pretty damn certain of it. They traded Reyes for two reasons, the first being money. The second was that he was our only leverage in the deal to begin with. Without him we probably would have been unable to unload the contracts of Johnson and Buerhle, and even if we could have done it without him, we would have gotten next to nothing instead of three pretty good prospects in Nico/Mars/Disco. You truly are an idiot. Lookup why Escobar was traded.
  6. Iphone 5 with ios8.... Perfect for trolling the interwebs or taking online exams when I was in school.
  7. So what would it take to acquire this guy? http://insider.espn.go.com/blog/buster-olney/post/_/id/8223 Eovaldi + Heaney + Capps + Conley + Dietrich? I doubt we have many pieces that Beane would want, but with his track record young pitching can make it happen. But I would hope Jennings/Hill would at least put themselves out there if Donaldson becomes available... Honestly.... Don't lie- Are you fucking stupid? Who in their right mind would trade two top shelf pitching prospects, a top 3 starter who has potential, a MR prospect who can close (it previously said start because immatard) and a 2b with pop for a 3B? Billy Beane would jump so fast at that you'd think he loaded up the Soda machine again. Two SP and Dietrich is enough. Three in a pitching starved league is murder.
  8. This is where I disagree. AGAIN, I think Eovaldi is worth more, I agree with you, but Turner was a ticking time bomb and it was just a matter of time until the Marlins gave up on him. Hand is not a ticking time bomb, in fact he is the opposite, with a very good second half of the season where he showed great improvement and probably established some value. I also don't think service time can be overlooked here... Eovaldi is already arb eligible and Hand has two more years at the minimum. Drop it. Or I will find you.... And I will kill you.
  9. He threw it with ease and was popping the glove, don't think it was clocked at all but sounds like he's throwing pretty hard without any effort. Exactly what I was thinking.
  10. In the vines- did it sound like he was putting some speed on those balls? It didn't look like he was just tossing lightly- it almost looked like he wanted to get to 80 mph. If only someone clocked his speed.
  11. About fucking time
  12. 2015 - .350 with 29 homers and 136 RBI, 47 steals. 10/200 FTFY
  13. Blew a 3-0 lead to Dallas and lose 5-4. All is normal. Preseason?
  14. OK, what you're going to do, go to your nearest Winn Dixie ... I don't know who you really are. I don't know what you're going to want. If I'm looking for ransom, I can tell you don't have money. But I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let your Brad Hand Argument go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will drag you to the closest Winn Dixie.
  15. At least I'm using some basis of facts to defend my argument. Your argument is based purely on "what you see" Nigga- the eye test is the shit. You can't trust the hype these days.
  16. I wonder how Adeiny would play 2B? Could he be a legitimate above average 2B?
  17. Fucking orioles. Really wish oakland hadn't fucked up- a detroit : oakland ALCS would have been great. Hopefully the Angels advance now.
  18. I don't know- either way he's pretty much right and funny.
  19. Lyle Overbay is a grown ass man who wants to hear none of your shit. Never seen a player be as true to himself as he is being on Twitter right now. Everyone give him some props for being a legitimate "dude" in the age of "No Comments" and politically correct statements. https://mobile.twitter.com/Lyle_Overbay
  20. Everyone should be missing Hanley. Right now we have shitsmcgehee and hech. Hanley is a god compared to them. If Hanley is a god, I'm renouncing my faith and I am officially an Atheist. Hanley is a piece of shit.
  21. I'd argue a case for Perez being full time even though he was labeled an interim. He was there in 2001 about as long as Edwin was in 2010 when he took over for Fredi. I know Edwin did go into 2011 as the manager too but I think Tonys got a case. Was he ever introduced as the manager for a full season? Or was he introduced while a permanent manager search was underway? The latter? His title was interm. No argument to be made
  22. I see JoFer, Yelich, Ozuna, Alvarez, Stanton and Eovaldi... And Adeiny. Seriously.
  23. Looks to be right - Marlins went 54-60 that year under his command. Full time. McKeon made a comeback roo- and I'm sure we've had a few managers for a day because of suspensions as well.
