  1. Awesome--- It's Batman Begins all over again!
  2. Kirk Nieuwenhuis walk off home run. I want to like Hernandez and I like his swing, but that was terrible. Two of those pitches were balls- he was trying to protect the plate and didn't get it. I blame Cozzi
  3. Fucking shit. It's Batman with nipples all over again.
  4. degrom vs this lineup = kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk Keep your predictions to yourself next time.
  5. Does that change the fact that being fat has had absolutely zero affect on his performance? We are arguing the merits of offering a phat contract to a fat player... Don't change the conversation wild turd.
  6. It's a fair point, but it's not as if Cabrera has been forced into the DH role since the trade. He's played third or first every year since he was traded. Found these two by the way---- http://m.espn.go.com/mlb/story?storyId=2944052&src=desktop From his time in Miami From Detroit- http://www.mlive.com/tigers/index.ssf/2012/02/detroit_tigers_miguel_cabrera_2.html
  7. It's a fair point, but it's not as if Cabrera has been forced into the DH role since the trade. He's played third or first every year since he was traded. Safe to say Detroit and their expectations forced him to stay in somewhat shape? Didn't he balloon to 60lbs or more overweight here in /006 or 07?
  8. The Marlins traded Cabrera because Loria is a cheap bastard. Fat or not, he was still one of the best young hitters in baseball at the time of the trade. This isn't a beauty contest. We play in the NL. While Loria is cheap- what cheap person wants to invest in something that isn't going to last long?

I'm holding out on the good stuff. I got a good pic of Lorias money shot all over his private TV when Stanton crushed a monster dong that game.
  10. Just can't agree with you with any of that. Too much speculation for me. What the fuck are you talking about? It's widely know the marlins were concerned about his weight, he kept eating, they told him lose weight and you'll get a contract, he didn't, so they traded his lard ass.
  11. Yeah, they have the flex pack but it wasn't available for purchase until after the season started. Before that all they would offer was a ticket exchange with other fans and no guarantee you'll get a replacement game or even your tickets taken back. I passed
  12. http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/miami-marlins/sfl-marlins-stanton-hit-in-face-by-pitch-20140911,0,7816772.story a pretty good summarization... can't be angry with Fiers... I want to fight people on the internet, and have made Winn Dixie my own personal fight club..... Your really going to tell me I can't be angry at Fiers?
  13. Not gonna lie, Stanton's Dad must have seen some serious shit in war- he looked calm and collected. Like he was planning his attack on Fiers while no one looked. He looked as if he was watching a really shitty movie. Not Sharknado Shitty. That's entertaining. Stanton's Dad was watching Gigli. His Aunt on the other hand looked like someone showed her what "two girls, one cup" was all about.
  14. Yeah I agree. It's not like it helps him work out/get stronger or anything and probably the opposite i'd imagine. Adderall is actually a performance enhancing stimulant. Not like anabolic steroids or HGH, but it IS a PED and a competitive advantage.
  15. He should have never had to trade Cabrera. But when you're forced to do something like that, it's a crapshoot. I don't blame him for that, I blame Loria. I blame Beinfest. If a players as fat, bloated and out of shape like Cabs was and eating himself out of a defensive position in the NL you don't sign a guy like that. He needed to get a better return and more can't miss prospects, not just top guys. Who in the right mind makes a long term commitment to a guy who won't stay in shape to get a 100MM contract. What did anyone think would hAppen once he got paid? The best thing for Miggys career was being traded, and being traded to a baseball hungry market who demands the best from their guys. The trade hurt his ego and made him take better care of himself to show the trade was a bad idea, and detroit a constant pressure makes him atleast want to stay relevant. In Miami, a 10 game slump would be something we despise, but the pressure wouldn't have been the same. In Detroit, a 10 game slump means Ford, Chevy and Dodge all went out of business, and now there's a 95% unemployment rate. Chaos and riots ensue. Miggy doesn't want a riot, so he stops at 6 empanadas, not 10.
  16. Should be, he didn't mean it. His reaction to the dugout was wrong but likely stemmed from the emotional situation. He seems like a classy good guy. The accidental beanings mean nothing to me- but to show up an already upset and distraught bench is what upsets me.
  17. Marlins All-Star Giancarlo Stanton sustained multiple facial fractures from the pitch that struck him on the face on Thursday night at Miller Park. The Marlins announced the 24-year-old slugger suffered a facial laceration that required stitches as well as dental damage. Source: http://joefrisaro.mlblogs.com/ During this whole situation my heart was racing and I wished I could reach into my TV and punch Friers in the face. If he just ruined this mans MVP season I don't think he will ever be able to show face in Miami. To see our "hero" laying on the ground like that and then hearing all the damage he has received... Good wishes and prayers going out to our MVP tonight.. FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FIERS FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK MLB FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. I never disliked Beinfest. In fact, I always thought he was pretty damn good considering his restraints. If it were up to him he would have never traded Cabrera, which was his only big fuck up. Other than that, he was able to show a strong talent for being resourceful by acquiring a number of contributing players over the years by any means necessary. He strung together some winning teams with glue and paper clips. He also managed to lock down some great players to smart deals and the only one he didn't (Uggla) not only returned good value but later imploded. Unfortunately for him, one failed free agent acquisition in Heath Bell likely cost him his job. If he didn't blow all those games early in 2012, that entire season might have turned out very different. Beinfest fucked up the Cabs deal. We had a chance to rape the Dodgers and Angels, but he passed. We literally could have a Cy young and a MVP canidate ALREADY on this team. Never trade with Dombrowski http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2007/11/angels-and-dodg.html
  19. Amazing how the one year he's healthy the entire season, no looming issues, just the usual slump every so often ... and this SHIT happens. FTFY
  20. Lazy tweet. I bet he used Swype. I bet his handler used Swype while Hanley was polishing his Chains and Rings.
  21. Just remembered, anyone notice when Stanton was being tended to, Ed Lucas was seemingly looking at something on a cell phone with Solano next to him looking at it too. Then the two went towards the medical crew as if to show them something. Any clue what that was? Its possibel the Marlins Medical team sent messaged to inform the on site physicians what Stanton is allergic to, atleast that my guess. A guy that big probably has a medication allergy. I have a few and have to be careful when I go to the hospital to make sure I'm not shot up with potentially deadly shit.
  22. Fiers was on the verge of tears I would be too if I had 40 guys with access to baseball bats yelling at me.
  23. I don't think Fiers hit either one intentionally but he was dead wrong when he egged the Marlin dugout on Curious, did we protest?
