9/15 Post Game

Bour with another decent game. I'm excited the FO is letting him get this audition for 2015, if he finishes strong it's likely we see a GIJones trade.

Bour/Baker platoon at first would be rather awesome. Bour mashed righties [and honestly, didn't fare horrendously against lefties, .246] in AAA, so that combo would be a nice thing to have, I think.

I'd like to watch Bour's at bat. I want to see him as a everyday 1B man.

I've said this for months, Jones blows

Bours pretty good. I'd like to see Bour at 1B and Jones in RF for now though.

Baker and Kiki at 2B

And Solano on outright release waivers.

Absolutely. Ball jumps off his bat, it's fun to watch him hit. He is just massive.

If also like to see Jensen on the team in some capacity next year, 4th OFer and potential platoon guy at 1B as well.

If we're keeping the left side of our infield (which we are), the right side of the infield has to be different next year. And by different, I mean not Justin Bour.

Act like a real franchise and spend money on proven players, Loria. If this team doesn't spend money this offseason, the first thing the commissioner should do is remove Loria from ownership. That would be great.

Just because we don't have to spend money on Justin Bour doesn't mean he can't be a good option. You're a Marlins fan, you should know that better than anyone.

We spent some money on Garrett Jones, and he has managed to cost this team a full win.

I think they will let Hernandez and Dietrich battle it out.

I like Bour as an option but they first need to get rid Jones' $5 million salary. I would like to see a proven power bat come in at first. Liking Garret Jones because of 1 year was pretty fucking stupid.

I would be so surprised to see the Marlins give Dietrich a real shot. He and Kike would be a fun combo to watch.

I think Jones will be dealt, plenty of teams will give him a platoon job. First base depth is really weak league wide right now.

What about Dietrich or Yelich to first?

The marlins have kicked around getting an OF if they can get one easier than a 1B.

It would be great if we got Tulo and Cargo from Colorado. Maybe Tulo can play 2B or even 3B with McGehee switchin across the diamond.

Our OF won't be touched. Dietrich at first base would be a great idea in theory, but he's a lot more valuable as a 2B and they'll trade him advertised that way.

No, I'm not talking about spending on the Garrett Jones's of the world either. Spend on real upgrades to show Stanton and the rest of the core that you believe in them. This franchise should be going for it next year. After what they've done this year, it's time for Loria to spend some money or gtfo.

I do hope you're joking about that last line.

If there's one thing I am not sir, is a jokester.

I assure you none of that was said in jest.
