i just thought about another possibility of the dream. everything that issac has painted has come true (the image of peter looking like he's dead, etc). the images in question have happened but the events that follow are not specific enough to know what will happen, like peter didn't die. since peter absorbed the powers of the issac and hiro (and probably using it subconsciously, thus the dream), what happens will come true, meaning that new york will explode and issac will be decapitated by sylar. what i'm also thinking is that sylar will absorb the powers of a shapeshifter and make himself look like peter, possibly as some sort of a ruin reputation kind of plot. how he explodes is possibly he has taken in too many powers and cannot contain them anymore so he explodes. i think i need some more info before we can do any more speculation. also the whole change the future vs. pre-detrimed density idea needs to be explored more. can they really change the future or are they just seeing tiny glimpses of what will happen anyway, especially since hiro couldn't change the past...i hope they don't abandon this idea and go deeper in future seasons, especially if new york does explode. i'm thinking the latter idea in they can see glimpses of the future, but nothing really changes, as their future has already been determined...almost every sci-fi show has some type of philosophical theme such as this one, and i think this could be the one for this show, as we have a person that can paint images of the future and a person that can bend time and space.

no, lt was a part of the vick trade, in that case, the chargers owned the falcons. ironically, i have two friends, one falcons fan that hates vick, another giants fan that hates eli. i just look at what little they have done with those two and think the chargers just know how to screw people up. all those players the chargers got for two underperforming hype machines. btw, one of my friends in Mississippi said that eli was overrated before he was drafted.

2k ruined everything, especially at mvpmods. everyone said that 2k6 was mediocre to mvp, and 989 sports is bad news...my brother tested one of their football games in 2003, lots of bugs. i hope this gets 2k sports back in the right direction, but also they should offer something to the nintendo and pc players instead of just the ones on sony and ms consoles.

You didn't always have the most popular opinions but you were a good poster and a damn good player at MLB 05. (Or was it 04... Or 06?! I can't remember) it was mvp 05. i remember accord was on mvpmods in the summer of 05 debating about the marlins in some player batting stance thread or something (this was before i found out about marlinsbaseball.com, in fact, this is when i first found out this site existed), so i should say something about that you accord helped me find this site to begin with. i sucked in mvp... :confused wish i could find the thread right now...it was somewhere in the 70's in the page range...that was a long thread.

1. get a job (to pay off college loans) 2. go to more baseball games than last year (one game) 3. see my college buddies before they graduate, go to some of their baseball games 4. finally get my driver's license (been holding up for the past three years, but with college now done, i have some more time to dedicate to actually driving instead of studying)

my dad was in the marines for 25 good long years (never in combat though and he's retired) and he says that the marines are the toughest of the tough and i told him that you were joining the marines. he's proud to welcome another one into the fold and says you made a good choice. i think you did too. from what my dad told me from his times in boot camp (1979), memorize that song, because they had to sing that every night before bed. i'm glad you are pursuing your dream in life. the world needs more dedicated guys like you willing to give everything to make their dreams a reality. good luck, and i hope to see you back here in the future.

wow. this question of mine has turned into a real topic for you guys, and i'm impressed with all the responses. i personally think the marlins will be a .500 team myself and have an easy chance of contending for the east, as the mets have downgraded, the phillies have taken a step back and i don't really see the braves improving too much, and the nats being the nats. i'm just tired of all the people assuming that even with the 78 win season last year, they pass it as a fluke year and assume a joke team this coming season without anything to back it up, but just saying "this teams is too young" or "this team has no big names". the marlins last season proved both false. i wish good luck to you in 2007 and hope to be battling you for the division crown instead of the muts or philthies.

there's no playoff implcations for my saints this week, since they are locked as the 2 seed and will have a first round bye. but the chargers should easliy beat the cardinals for home field in the afc. i'll mostly be just watching football for the next two weeks.

some quick hiro news. he got nominated for a golden globe for best supporting actor and appeared as a celebrity picker for nfl total access on nfl network on friday. he's also a big football fan and into the fantasy realm as mentioned in the interview.
