  1. frank forte just said hanley has a left shoulder subluxation, whatever that means
  2. pbp reports that as of right now, olsen will make his next scheduled start
  3. treanor's caught stealing % is down because the opposition routinely steals bases off of our pitchers don't you guys think treanor also handles the pitches much better and has a much better mind for the game (although everyone may be better than olivo)
  4. still gotta post the lineups
  5. does it ever end? let's hope hanley only misses a day or two and doesn't feel lingering effects
  6. hanley2 replied to Wild Card's topic in Miami Marlins
easier said than done when its not your shoulder, he was in agony
  7. hanley2 replied to Wild Card's topic in Miami Marlins
how do you know his dislocated it? that would be horrendously awful

truly ridiculous numbers for hanley, but he just left the game with an injured shoulder and i think i might cry
  9. I agree with Hotcorner that Treanor should get more starts I disagree with the thread starter that Treanor is better in every aspect of catching. Olivo has a much stronger arm and has much more power in his bat. Neither of them make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. PS....I love these threads that come out right after Treanor has like a career night. lol Thank You! "The Don" has put some sense into this thread!! :notworthy it helps to actually read the posts. i said he's better in every aspect of the position defensively -- nothing to do with more power at the plate. and we've all been saying treanor should start to play more but the thread starts last night because now fredi is being stubborn and foolish to not give treanor more chances. based on treanor's recent performance, it is no longer reasonable to believe he can't start over olivo.
  10. hanley uggla cabs jake hammer hermida olivo alfredo hurk freel keppinger griffey phillips dunn conine lopez ross arroyo let's go fish
  11. olivo isn't a starting catcher for a franchise either
  12. exception: wes helms is not a scumbag. he is an honest, hard-working, decent ballplayer who helped shape and develop the young minds of jake, hammer, and reginald damascus abercrombie to name a few.
  13. # 32 could be a player miggy admired when he was a kid
  14. i'll be disappointed if nobody knows what color shirt Beinfest was wearing It was the dark shade of mauve known as purple. awesome thank you
  15. i'll be disappointed if nobody knows what color shirt Beinfest was wearing
  16. i'm not just now figuring this out, but at this point i think its unreasonable for him to not get more chances
  17. did anybody see what color shirt Admin was wearing tonight?
  18. Been pulling for that change since before it was cool. you mean since before treanor started hitting better than olivo

  20. if you wanna sneak into a different section then just carry a tray of food and nobody will make you reach into your pocket for a ticket. rule # 1 for joe robbie stadium
  21. He deserves to see more PT. He has much better AB's and he makes the pitcher WORK. He doesnt hack at 3 pitches and hope for the best. Better AB's and Better D= playing time let's hope fredi realizes this
  22. is it safe to say that everybody would agree treanor is better than olivo in every aspect of the catcher position and at handling the pitchers? i'm usually an olivo supporter because he's basically not that talented, but plays tough and occasionally comes through big. but after what treanor has shown recently with the bat, doesn't he deserve to start more? a lot more? i don't actually expect treanor to take playing time away from olivo, the same way i know uggla will hit 2nd the rest of the year. but at this point, i think it seems plainly obvious that treanor at least deserves more chances to start, especially considering he's superior defensively. thoughts?
