Updated: Shooting at Cleveland High School, Student Gunman Killed
That's what you get for taking a gun to school. You can thank Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold for your one-way ticket to Hell, you little prick.

Buying a MacBook Pro, Need Some Help/Recommendations
Should have waited a couple weeks for Mac OS X 10.5 "Leopard". Unless they told you that you'll get a free upgrade this close to its release. I've seen Boot Camp in action. It is, essentially, the Mac operating as a real PC. No emulation involved, since the Mac is now Intel-based. Just a typical dual-boot scenario. (When you install Vista, though, you might want to download the latest Nvidia ForceWare driver package. Video drivers have been a bear with Vista in general.)

Allan Houston back in the NBA
Atleast it wont be in Miami Even if Miami wanted him (OMG), the Knicks couldn't move his bloated contract.

Official Wrestling Discussion
For all those who say Cena is not worthy of being in the main event, and Triple H is the better star and yes im talking to HRKing Last night's edition of Monday Night RAW did a 2.8 cable rating, which is down from last week's 3.2 cable rating. RAW did hours of 2.8 and 2.8. Coming off a big PPV with three WWE title matches and two title changes for one title, there is definitely concern. This is even more comical when you would think that more people would be tuning in just to see where they were going with the storyline. They were saying on Pro Wrestling Torch how this is the lowest October rating for RAW since 2.3 in October 1997.

Marlins fans aren't that bad
Heck yeah, the Marlins even opened up space and still sold out. D-back fans have no complaints about a stadium either We didnt sell out any of the Giants playoff games in 03. They opened up the outfeild updeck and club though. Fixed. And we still had more people than any other park even has capacity for. By a long shot.

Hot Marlins fans
What is it with these guys and scaring girls half to death with overzealous hypersexual hyperbole?

Rivera testing free agent market
I assume, he puts Rivera in there because of his track record, but Rivera wasn't even a top 15-20 reliever this year. Too much weight is put on 'mentality' and perception then actual results. Rivera hasn't been mentally right when it really matters since he blew Game 7 of the 2001 World Series.

NFL Week 6 Discussion
Crockett is old, but a still a beast. And he's played in Gruden's system before. Kinda sucks that Pittman got hurt so bad. It's kinda like God's trying to tell the Bucs that it's just not their year.

Leinart finished; Rattay to Cardinals
Speaking of QB desparation, the Panthers signed Vinny Testaverde.

Rivera testing free agent market
Matsuzaka still has a job and he only won 15 of his 32 starts - that's 47% isn't it? And 15-12 means he only won 56% of his decisions. Why does he still have a job? 1) He signed a HYOOOOGE contract. 2) Those 15 wins come on a season where he worked harder than he ever had, going from a start every six games to a start every five. Next year will be more telling of whether his signing was worth it or not. (And it's still 15 wins, which is a decent benchmark for a good pitcher.) (Also, you're the one to talk. The Yankees signed Roger Clemens for $18 million for a half-season, and got 6-6 from him.)

NFL Week 6 Discussion
I gave up hope on the season when we drafted a kick returner #9 over Brady Quinn, despite not having a good QB on the roster. I gave up hope when they released Daunte. My mom's from Miami and is a life-long Dolphins fan. She won't even watch them anymore.

Texas Tech bans Michael Vick t-shirts
Normally this wouldn't be such a big deal if not for the fact that Texas Tech's AD made "good sportsmanship" such a big issue before the season.

NFL Week 6 Discussion
Well, Miami's going into Cleveland. Will the 'Fins finally turn it around? Jacksonville hosting the Texans. Last year I attended this game, and it was humiliating. Tennessee rolling into Tampa Bay. Judgement Day for the Bucs. Oh, and unbeaten New England going to (barely) unbeaten Dallas. Someone leaves Texas Stadium with their first loss. MNF is the New York Football Giants headed to Atlanta.

Leinart finished; Rattay to Cardinals
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3056164 Matt Leinart has been placed on injured reserve with a broken collarbone, ending his season. He was expected to miss 6-8 weeks, but the Cardinals had nobody to back up Kurt Warner, so they IR'ed Leinart and signed former Bucs backup Tim Rattay. Rattay was in training camp for the Titans this year, but was cut before the season began.

Rivera testing free agent market
On my list is Mo, KRod, Putz, Hoffman, and Wagner - maybe Papelbon. Putz only had one good season too. Shouldn't he be in the Valverde group?

NHL Network to debut in USA this month
I can't wait for my tax refund this year, so I can get upgraded to DirecTV HD. Of course, it won't be specifically for NHL Network, but...

Xbox 360 .vs Playstation 3
http://www.xbitlabs.com/news/multimedia/di...1004112437.html For its first 10 months, GameCube sold 2.12 million consoles. For its first 10 months, PS3 sold 1.74 million consoles. (And probably cost Sony a whole hell of a lot more than GCN cost Nintendo.)

Bring Pudge back!
that's quite the price DETROIT -- The Detroit Tigers decided Ivan Rodriguez was worth another $13 million. Detroit exercised an option Tuesday on the All-Star catcher's contract, retaining him for a fifth season at a hefty price. The Tigers could have bought him out of the last year of his deal for $3 million, but they didn't like the prospect of not having Rodriguez behind the plate in 2008. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3055661 Indian givers.

Boss says Torre's job on line
My only concern with seeing a guy like Mattingly take over is that he really doesn't have any experience and if he fails, The Boss will be firing a Yankee icon. Hasn't stopped him from firing Yankee icons before.

Boss says Torre's job on line
Does anybody have a picture of the Peanuts comic from when Charlie Brown was working on a "Joe Torre look"?

Rivera testing free agent market
*prepares for Yankees to overpay out the ass to keep him* You never know. He may actually want out. But the most likely scenario is the Yankees overpaying out the ass the keep him.
