Marlins playing good ball right now, defensively and getting decent pitching.

goodbye wood, and goodbye Carroll or Andino because of Hermida's coming back to the club.

1) I really don't think we need Helms, Cantu is fine at 3rd, McPherson seems to be doing well in AAA, with two jacks, I know Isotopes Park is a hitters paradise but that should get his confidence up. As far as sending someone down I think we should send Wood down, I like him, but I think he needs to look into coaching or something, maybe like Mordecai. I think Carroll is too valubale defensively to send down, he also has a good bat. I think Andino is up for good, he is a great asset off the bench for his speed and glove. He also can flat out hit. 2) No, I think we need Hermida up here, maybe for the 1st couple of weeks alternating with Gonzo and Carroll in and out. He's not gonna get anything out of jacking the ball everywhere off AAA pitchers in the hitter friendly PCL. 3) Even if he is available for the minimum, no we don't need him.

Carroll's throw had me up off my couch and punching the air. Tremendous play. This team is fun to watch. I think we should keep Carroll on the team, even when Hermida comes back. He's valuable as a defensive replacement late in ballgames (I'm not confident when Hermida's out there, either). To whoever said it, yeah, I think it's time for Jason Wood to leave (which is sad b/c he really worked hard to get here, and he provided some clutch hits last year). Totally agree, with Hermida coming back Wood is the odd man out, you can't send Andino back again, he's really showing what he can do, base hit tonight. I like Wood, but he's time has come to either go to another team or retire, I really don't think AAA is an option.

I could really get use to this, last two years only two walk-off dingers combined, both by one player (Hammer). Hopefully they do it again tomorrow when I am there. Also that DP from Uggla might have been the best play I have ever seen him make.

I am not trying to agree with espn, because they suck. But espnews had andino's shot as their high performance play of the night.

I really did not like it, all i got was a Matt Treanor Autograph, you had to go through this whole process of getting autographs, first you had to wait in one line to get a coupon to get them, then you had to wait in an even larger line to get the actual auto. The VIP passes did nothing for you. I was looking forward to the tours, that never happened. I liked that there was a big turnout, but I think the Marlins were under-prepared in how many people would actually show up.

On Wed. the Marlins had their annual Caravan leading up to FanFest, and it was great. I went to on Wed. at Roxy's Pub with my friend. There was hardly any fans their, so the players were very easy to access. The players there included: Jeremy Hermida Mike Rabelo Logan Kensing Anibal Sanchez Henry Owens Josh Johnson The Marlins Mermaids I got pictures with most of them, I will show them as soon as my friend sends them to me. I also got a bunch of VIP Passes to the Marlins FanFest, which allows to do tons of stuff. I also got tons of cards and memorbilia autographed, it was an awesome night.

were did you see them at? Roxy's Pub it was very cool, there was barely any fans there, the players were very eeasy accessible.

Does anyone know if any Marlins players have begun workingout at the Dean yet.

Right now I am going to a bunch at the Dean to see the Marlins, I went to about 10 last year. I am also thinking about going to Port. St Lucie, Lakeland, Kissimme, and Ft. Lauderdale. I am also going to Lauderdale for the Dimaggio Legends Game.

Marlins have some great memories of playing at U.S. Cellular. Remeber back in 04 i believe, the fish had to play the expos there because of the hurricanes.

Right now the Marlins need to go out and get a veteran, even if it is Brian Mohler, as much as it pains me to say. I think Mark Wiley alone will suffice... he'd be better than Moehler.
