Maybin sent to AA
Good move by the Fish, no need to rush him, he's still a baby.

When it's all said and done...
Also...what makes you think Dontrelle is gonna have a good year? Exactly....his spring so far has been far from stellar. Hasn't his ERA been over 5.00 for the Spring ? I know that can improve, but that too me could be a warning sign too. We may have gotten the best of what the D-Train had to offer. :thumbup

When it's all said and done...
When you lose a player like Miguel Cabrera, you don't "win". When we lose Hanley in a couple years, we won't be winning anything in that trade either. It is not real likely that both Maybin and Miller will live up to what you people are expecting. If one of them does, you will be lucky. Trahern, Badenhop, and De La Cruz are throw-ins in any trade. Must be nice to be an eternal optimist, but how many times can you watch this happen with a smile on your face? By the way- Willis will have a better year in '08 than any of our starting 5 will... And Cameron Maybin will NEVER have a year as good as Cabrera has had up to this point in his career- including his 2003 season. Skills mean nothing when you are unable to apply them, so I don't care how fast Maybin is or how hard he can hit a ball when he occasionally is able to make contact. Wow.....you sure are Mr Cheery aren't you ? :whistle

Too funny
Found a site (non-commercial so this is not spam) that is hilariously funny. Its all about the funny misinterpretations that are made by the Japanese & Koreans when they try to put sayings into English. They don't always get it right, and many times its just rolling on the floor funny. Check out www.engrish.com to find more of these

The Little old lady goes to heaven and ??????
An old lady dies and goes to heaven. She's chatting it up with St Peter atThe Pearly Gates when all of a sudden she hears the most awful, bloodCurdling screams. Don't worry about that," says St Peter, "It's only someone having the holesPut into her shoulder blades for wings." The old lady looks a little uncomfortable but carries on with theConversation. Ten minutes later, there are more blood curdling screams. "Oh my God," says the old lady, "now what is happening?" "Not to worry," says St Peter, "She's just having her head drilled to fitThe halo." "I can't do this," says the old lady, "I'm going to hell." "You can't go there," says St Peter. "You'll be raped and taken advantage of" "Maybe so, says the old lady, but I've already got the holes for that."

Despite the loss of Cabrera, ESPN still see us as a contender
real power rankings http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/powerRankings #29... right above the royals Well I still see us better than the Giants, but our rotation is shaky. Miller has to deliver, no question about that, or we're sunk.
