Ok lets say we don't rush AJ and he starts pitching a month into the season... Why do we need to spend money on another 5th starter. If we just use tejera or phelps hes only going to pitch 4 or 5 times in that month, we showed that we can win with phelps starting last year, why not just save money and do that?

Remember one of the nicknames for cabs last year was kkkabrera, he does strikeout alot sometimes, i think 4th or 5th is better for him than 3rd...

Biddles gona need alot more than a point from his erra to be one of the better closers in the league, there are far to many good closers, nen, wagner, smoltz, gagne, percival, sasaki, rivera, Hoffman, foulke, kock, rhodes, looper, benitez, mantei, ect

Obviously a middle reliever (lefty) weve been talking about this for weeks now, the catching postions fine, im pretty comfortable with castro and choi, and the only thing we dont really have is a lefty hurler.

and agon is better than everett... Until I took a look at the stats, that's what I thought as well. gonzalez's 228 ave blows but he has 20hr potential he did it last year...

i had to disagree with a few, wood < oswalt miller > clement, and pettittes not going to be the 1st starter anyway, and agon is better than everett... and redding is actually one of the best 5th pitchers in the league,a nd if the cubs dont get anyone cruz is going to start and redding is better than cruz.
