I dunno i read this rotoworld post... A Mets employee told Newsday's Jon Heyman that the Vladimir Guerrero signing is "80 percent done." The Orioles still figure to increase their offer to Guerrero again, so Mets fans shouldn't get too excited just yet. Still, it's looking more and more likely that Guerrero will end up in New York. If it happens, the Orioles could then sign Ivan Rodriguez to split time with Javy Lopez between the catcher and DH spots. And i read that other vlad post, so it seems like the mets have a great chance to sign him, better than the marlins do.

Ignorant Cub Fan I still, for one, think it was Alex Gonzalez's (Cubs SS) fault that the Cubs lost when he bobbled that grounder which would have been the inning ending DP and the Marlins would have never had that rally. Who knows if Alou would have caught that anyway and plus, it would have only been 1 out. It'd been 2 outs. And the sacrifice fly by Conine that tied the game would have just been a fly-out, out number 3, and Cubs still up by one. No more runs in the game, Cubs would've been in the WS. That's including Gonzalez's bobble. Youve probably played baseball before, You should know that you change your swing when you want to do different things. You try to hit a fly fall, pull a ball, hit a grounder, swing for power, if there were 2 outs who knows what kind of swing conine would of had. And one of the reasons why that play is so tough is because you have to catch the ball out of all the fans hands, so why is it an automatic out??
