They must have deleted it because I can't find it, but that's pretty pathetic. It's not even that hard to look up the game to verify. Journalism these days seems to be about being first, not being right.

now we have someone to blame if the wheels fall off! :P

Marlins Place Owen Caissie, John King On Injured List - MLB Trade Rumors The Marlins announced that they have placed outfielder Owen Caissie on the ten-day injured list with a right calf strain. Left-hander John King hits the 15-day IL with a left lateral ankle sprain. They also optioned righty Zach Brzykcy to Triple-A Jacksonville. To take those three rosters spots, righty Janson Junk has been reinstated from the 15-day IL while righty Ryan Gusto and outfielder Rece Hinds have been recalled. Craig Mish of the Miami Herald reported earlier that Caissie would hit the IL. Christina De Nicola of MLB.com was first on the Hinds promotion.

MLBTR did an article on the Marlins trade deadline outlook, so figured I'd post it and start a general deadline thread discussion. The article is behind a paywall, but highlights potential needs as: -Back-end starter -high-leverage relief -third base -right-handed bat MLB Trade RumorsTrade Deadline Outlook: Miami MarlinsThe streaking Marlins now look like they'll be surprise deadline buyers. MLB Trade Rumors examines where they'll look to add.

I noticed that they had 2 left, I was waiting for it, but I'll take it!

Why does he leave him in there?

wtf

faucher sucks eh?

I found this:

Found a news clip, but I assume that's not what you're looking for:

I understand both sides of the coin. From a casual fan perspective, it sucks to see him pulled out in a perfect game. But, from an informed fan perspective, we know he was hurt and don't want the injury risk long term (gotta keep him healthy for when we trade him to the Yankees or something :P ). I think it's smart from a injury standpoint, even if frustrating in a case like yesterday. I'm just glad they didn't blow the game....

Googled it, and our very own @Admin 's post came up because he did the research 7 years ago lol: http://www.miamidade.gov/govaction/matter.asp?matter=080474&file=true&fileAnalysis=false&yearFolder=Y2008

Marlins Place Anthony Bender On Injured List - MLB Trade Rumors The Marlins placed reliever Anthony Bender on the 15-day injured list with a stress reaction in his right shin. Zach Brzykcy is up from Triple-A Jacksonville to take his place in the bullpen. Miami also optioned Graham Pauley to open a spot for Liam Hicks, who returns from the 10-day injured list. The Marlins didn’t provide a timeline on Bender’s return. He suffered this same injury in the middle of August last year and was immediately ruled out for the season.

Yeah, not sure how you go 0-10 or whatever it is when the rest of the team had a hit-a-palooza.

Mets picked up Morel... https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2026/06/mets-sign-christopher-morel.html

Marlins Release Christopher Morel - MLB Trade Rumors First baseman Christopher Morel‘s stint in the Marlins organization is over. After getting outrighted to Triple-A, Morel was released from the Jacksonville roster. Isaac Azout of FishOnFirst was the first to report the move.

Marlins Outright Christopher Morel - MLB Trade Rumors The Marlins sent first baseman Christopher Morel outright to Triple-A Jacksonville, according to the MLB.com transaction tracker.

Bodes well for us in theory.

Strongest as in against better opponents?

Fat fingers! lol

Kind of crazy that in the team's 33 year history, being just 3 over is the 3rd best halfway performance....

They're too busy pandering to all things latin Meeahmeeee beisbol!!! to pay attention to things like that.

Didn't think it deserved its own thread.....I'm glad we moved on from him with his injury history. Cubs To Place Edward Cabrera On Injured List - MLB Trade Rumors The Cubs are placing starter Edward Cabrera on the 15-day injured list, skipper Craig Counsell told reporters after tonight’s win over the Mets (relayed by Bob Nightengale of USA Today). He’ll go for imaging tomorrow after leaving today’s game with a left hamstring strain. This year hasn’t gone as smoothly. Cabrera has a career-worst strikeout rate and has had home run issues. He’s carrying an ERA above 5.00 across 14 starts.

Most people are just casual fans.....if they're not told something is happening, they'll have no idea.

Fairbanks tried to ruin it lol
