  1. Didn't they have to repaint the batter's eye at the last minute due to some objection from MLB? I just don't understand making the padding and the batter's eye a visual focal point when you already have the fish tank and the cf home run sculpture. I understand the idea of giving the stadium a "Miami" feel, but all they succeeded in doing is creating a stadium that falls upon a stereotypical touristy view of Miami. They did get the public corruption and lack of a cohesive public transportation system down to a tee though.
  2. Does the roof track facing 836 look dirty to anyone?
  3. Does anyone think Buck does a bad job of framing pitches?
  4. Shouldn't the third base coach be able to gauge if a ball is going to be off the wall?
  5. Volstad's fastball looked better than it looks on most nights. Leo Nunez has never looked better than he looked tonight, to be fair. His slider was actually nasty tonight on that Barajas at-bat. Even the hit he gave up to Loney was not that terrible of a pitch. This was by far his most dominant outing of the season. I may not have been against elite hitters, but if he's hitting his spots like he did today no one can touch him.
  6. The Sanchise has been great for a few years now. It's great to know we have a guy that can give you 2-3 innings of solid relief if the starter is having a bad day. He's a bullpen saver. My current favorite Marlin is Gaby Sanchez while my all time favorite is Mike Lowell.
  7. Still early but Edwin is making a case for staying manager next year. What would our record be if Fredi had this same roster to manage? Notice the Braves record with Fredi (11 - 12) Every study done has shown that even the best managers will only have a minimal impact on wins and loses. Fredi and Edwin essentially had identical records with the same team last year. We did not win because of some mastery from Edwin, we won because Bonifacio laid off a high fastball and the Dodgers had issues fielding.
  8. 1 side note, am i the only one that feels that ryan webb is pitching or warming up in about every single game thus far? I personally like Dunn more than Webb, but it looks like Edwin or Randy are more comfortable throwing out Webb.
  9. El Dollarazo Field at Ñoooo! ¡Que Barato! Park. fixed

Would he have to be added to the major league roster?
  11. I know it's the pirates, but I really like how balanced our lineup is.
  12. On the plus side his OBP is still high compared to his average so there is no immediate need to move him from his spot in the order.
  13. Jeffrey Loria, you have horrible taste. This has been my main cause of concern since day one. The guy is really tacky and I'm really worried about what he might do to the uniforms.
  14. I think it might be a bank. Leaning towards Wells Fargo since they are currently re-branding all the Wachovias. I haven't seen any Wells Fargo banks around her yet. I highly doubt that happens. But f it did, instead of the Pub it would be the well.:anon Already going through N. Florida by the summer they will start to convert S. Florida. http://www.bizjournals.com/jacksonville/news/2011/03/23/wachovia-becomes-wells-fargo-in-ne.html
