yokofox33
Voting for Volstad. 7 really nice innings. Stanton had a huge hit as well, and Leo was just filthy.
HitDaCycle
Great game! Volstad is looking better each start! He did a good job keeping us in there. Hanley looking good and Mike Stanton with another big hit for us!

Darren Daulton
we Rule! Nunez did look sharp Nice to see Hanley produce with a 2 hit day and coming home each time.

dom2613
Voly came up big. Did not expect that from him. Hanley with 2 hits, yup 2!!!! Plus a heads up hustle play. Stanton went the other way to get 2 rbi's. Great game! Leo looked great tonight too. Nasty slider and change.
floridafly
Can't decide between Hanley and Stanton... both came up huge! I'll give it to Hanley cause of his hustle leading to an extra run in the 4th.
Erick
Volstad's fastball looked better than it looks on most nights. Leo Nunez has never looked better than he looked tonight, to be fair. His slider was actually nasty tonight on that Barajas at-bat.
Dr Beinfest
Volstad outperformed his limits by 250%.
FLAY
Volstad's fastball looked better than it looks on most nights. Leo Nunez has never looked better than he looked tonight, to be fair. His slider was actually nasty tonight on that Barajas at-bat. Even the hit he gave up to Loney was not that terrible of a pitch. This was by far his most dominant outing of the season. I may not have been against elite hitters, but if he's hitting his spots like he did today no one can touch him.

mystikol87
Something about this team just seems special. Something about your face just seems special. Wow, nasty sliders? I only got to see the last batter, dangit. Volstad outperformed his limits by 250%. I lol'd.
mystikol87
Right now, I'm surprised when this team loses, and it's a great feeling to have. On a nice little high with Marlins baseball, we are.
StantonisKing
Something about this team just seems special. I agree, this team has shown they can play with anyone in the league. I think they could end up as the best team in baseball. They're beating good competetion, teams that many had in the playoffs with LoMo injured and Infante, Hanley, and (to a lesser extent) Stanton not playing up to their full potential with the bat. JJ, Ricky, and Anibal are balling this season and our bullpen is deep and one of the best in the game. All the pieces are in place.

Hotcorner
Volstad over Kershaw... didn't see that one coming. I mean they're doing this now with LoMo out, Hanley hitting .230, Infante .201, Buck .210... we haven't even had the full lineup together healthy more than a few games.
