I gave fotg to Volstad even though it was pretty close with Mikey. I love it when our bottom of the rotation pitchers come through for the team!

Same here. With '97, they were expected to win. In '03, they got off to a bad start, but even with Trader Jack's arrival and the team turnaround it didn't feel like this. Special is the right word. I'm hoping by October it becomes magical

ok so what was I going to say now? Oh yeah...the fact that we're winning despite our offense not being up to par with what it should be is great. Hanley looks like he might be coming out of his slump (if last night is any indication) and Mike Stanton is back to his old form. So once we get Logan back, this should be even more interesting! I'm more excited about the Marlins now than I have been in quite some time. Let's hope we can sweep the Dodgers!

Volstad beating Kershaw is a nice surprise! Has a potentially tough outing in St Louis next time so hopefully he can carry last night's form forward.

Hopefully Ani can finish off the sweep, but Billingsly will be a challenge. But if Hanley is truly back and firing on all cylinders, we have a pretty good shot and winning and sending a message that the Marlins are for real.

This is a very exciting season so far. If it weren't for finals week I'd have gone to one of these games.

I really am happy about Hanley's attitude, which is why I'm indifferently/only annoyed by his lack of offense. It's starting. It'll come eventually.
