It really was bad in there fan-wise. I got so much smack talked to me. I know miami fans arent the greatest but Tampa fans are just as bad or worse, so they are in no position to talk. One guy kept running his mouth about how they just beat our best pitcher from the world series lsat year. Another told me it was disgraceful that we couldnt even sell out the world series last year because he heard from his uncles brothers third cousins friend that somebody was able to walk right up to the box office and get a ticket. I dont think I will be going back for either of the other games in this series.

One of my friends in Tampa said they heard on the radio that if you bring a can of fish you can get outfield tickets for $5 or something like that.

I will be there on friday night. They have some deal for college students with $3 left field seats and $1 drafts. So I will definitely be there Friday to see AJ pitch and I hope to make the other games as well

How exactly did Clemens screw the yankees. I can understand your point of the farewell tour but that was just an unclassy move on his part, nothing really against the yankees though. It is so hypocritical for yankees fans to cry over one of their players selling them out to sign with another team as the Yankees do that every offseason to the best free agent on the market. Did Giambi sell out the A's, Did Mussina sell out the orioles, Sheffield to the Braves, the list goes on and on The arrogance of Yankee fans never cease to amaze me

We dont need to make any big acquistions. We are the CHAMPS. Other teams need to make big pick ups to keep up with us since were #1. All we need to do is keep the core of the team together and for the most part we have done that with the top of the lineup still here and most of our pitching staff. Weve also added Benitez who is a big name closer and should be able to perform about as well as Looper and Urbina did for us last year. Now would I like to add Vlad or others, sure, but its not overly likely to happen. Even still, we have more than enough to remain competitive
