It seems like a Hannahan/Stewart to platoon with Kouzmanoff type scenario until Cox/Dietrich is/are ready. Seeing as how Escobar still had options for 2 additional seasons for $5 mil each, wonder if they would consider "using Escobar's money" over that same period? Like would they consider giving Keppinger 3 years? I'm not sure what kind of money he's going to get... sounds like something in the 3 yr/ 13m range, they could certainly do that if they just counted it as money that was likely going to Escobar anyway. And Keppinger gives you some flexibility too, he can shift around the infield if they want to add Cox or Dietrich in 2014. I like this idea.

I'd prefer Green. He's improved every step of the way and can join the MLB roster right now. Probably would end up being an above average player, especially if he's put at 2B. Same. Is Ricky close with Stanton? Yep. Both being natives of California [i wanna say close to same zip code but not sure], they became pretty good friends. And they went on that trip together with Guillen. Which trip? The trip out of Miami in the 2012 offseason? The one to Toronto.

He's only played a total of 36 games in the OF in his six years in the minors, posting a .955 fielding percentage. I am hoping he'll play mostly LF with us in AAA in case we need him to start at some point in Miami.
