I'm not falling for it again. This team hasn't made the playoffs in a decade and the chances of rebuilding actually paying off are slim. The same front office that has been over seeing the last ten years of failure is still in place and in tact? Why should we suddenly trust that now they have a clue what they are doing? I don't. Another slow, painful rebuilding process that will amount to nothing. The front office knows that its easier to keep expectations lower than low so that anything will seem like success. Keep throwing crap against the wall and hope a championship team evolves from the mix of failed moves. I am not even excited to see Stanton anymore. The man is as good as gone from this team. Future stars? Who cares. They are the future of other teams when they actually turn into something good. But but but...MATT. ****ING. DOWNS.
