i gotta beard first time ever. 681444 I would imagine that a beard could be a problem while preparing any type of flaming dish.... but a great show for those watching
3. Ya, there used to be a Miami baseball team in one of the independent leagues or minor leagues (I forget which one). 680713 Actually it was the International League if I recall correctly. 680719 Actually, you are both right. Some years after the International League, the Miami Marlins were a Class A team in the Florida State League for the Baltimore Orioles. That is why Miami Stadium served for years as the spring training home for the Orioles.

Full beard. I seem to have forgotten to shave for a few mornings.... actually every morning since around August of 1984.

6. And this year's Postseason Confidence Picks winner is: Mordy is God Congratulations!! The running totals thread will show the final results whenever I can get around to it. **Edit** They are posted now.
7. ***EDIT*** Topic title has been changed to reflect reality, rather than being so misleading.
8. Having had the opportunity to see all those guys pitch in thier primes (Clemens, Maddux, Seaver, Ryan, and Pedro,) I would take Seaver as my #1 out of that group. I really don't think you could go wrong with any of them, but Seaver would be my pick. Out of that group, Maddux is the guy with a completely different approach, a complete thinker. The rest of them commanded your attention because they crowded you inside so hard. But Seaver was also a thinker, so you combine those two great skills to pitching. For me, Pedro ranks last in that group. But oh what a group to rank last in.

Yeah, I think you're going to alcohol poisoning if you do hard stuff. 676895 Nah. Back when I was a bit more of a drinker, we would get together for postseason games just so we could do Kamikazi shots. Simple rules, one shot for: any score any turnover running plays better than 30 yards passing plays better than 50 yards end of quarter (except half time required a double shot.) And usually you pick 1 commercial that you believe will air several times during a game (Nike, Bud, etc,) so every time it airs, another shot. Of course that could lead to trouble if you adhere to the rules: Hail Mary pass (longer than 50 yards) on the last play of the half is caught, then fumbled, picked up by the defense and run back (obviously more than 30 yards) for a TD as time expires in the half. Thats a 6 spot, now you have alcohol poisoning

13. Jackie Robinson's number has been retired by every team, but you are probably looking for someone that had their number retired by teams he played for. So I'll say Nolan Ryan.

18. Last time I saw snow fall was 1984. Went back up north to visit family, and I think we got about 15" while I was there. I had spent 18 years dealing with that stuff, and that return visit only convinced me never to visit up there during the winter again. My wife on the other hand has never seen snow.

22. As a trucker stops for a red light, a blonde catches up. She jumps out of her car, runs up to his truck, and knocks on the door. The trucker lowers the window, and she says, "Hi, my name is Heather and you are losing some of your load." The trucker ignores her and proceeds down the street. When the truck stops for another red light, the girl catches up again. She jumps out of her car, runs up and knocks on the door. Again, the trucker lowers the window. As if they've never spoken, the blonde says brightly, "Hi my name is Heather, and you are losing some of your load!" Shaking his head, the trucker ignores her again and continues down the street. At the third red light, the same thing happens again. All out of breath, the blonde gets out of her car, runs up, and knocks on the truck door. The trucker lowers the window. Again she says, "Hi, my name is Heather, and you are losing some of your load! When the light turns green the trucker revs up and races to the next light. When he stops this time, he hurriedly gets out of the truck, and runs back to the blonde. He knocks on her window, and as she lowers it, he says.."Hi, my name is Kevin, it's winter in PENNSYLVANIA and I'm driving the SALT TRUCK!
