May 12, 200422 yr Author mark redman :thumbup I was gonna put Big Red up there as a joke, but I figured he's in the AL. He doesn't hit anymore. Not like he ever did in the NL, but still... :lol
May 12, 200422 yr You gotta have Zambrano and Prior up there as well. The only game I went to last year was against the Cubs and Zambrano hit a homer and a double off the wall.
May 12, 200422 yr Author You gotta have Zambrano and Prior up there as well. The only game I went to last year was against the Cubs and Zambrano hit a homer and a double off the wall. I'd put Kerry Wood on there way before Prior, and I'd put Zambrano up there before both of them. I should have put Z on there instead of Myers, but whatcha gonna do?
May 12, 200422 yr No Brooks Kieschnick? Last year he had more time at OF/DH than pitcher. This year he's had more at bats pinch-hitting than as a pitcher. He's great for the Brewers, an lefthanded bat and bullpen arm in one roster spot making the major league miniumum. But a pitcher he is not. As for the poll, I voted for Livan.

Both Zambrano and Prior outhit Wood last season. Zambrano did so easily with 2HR and 5 doubles. Where does this kid get this crap from lol?
May 12, 200422 yr Babe Ruth j/k I voted for Dontrelle since he is swinging the bat well and I think he will be the best during 2004. Is not a fluke to be 10-10 at what point, you know
May 12, 200422 yr its Hampton no questions asked. the guy has been in the league for a while and he is a career .250 hitter! thats rediculous. hes had a .300 BA season before and lets not forget that season with 7 HR, that was sick for a guy who went up to hit every fifth day......... and is a pitcher. :lol
May 13, 200422 yr Livan Hernandez career OPS= .546 and OPS+= 43 Hampton OPS= .652 and OPS+=68 Willis right now might be the best, but it is not Hernandez, I withdraw my vote for him. It is Don or Mike.

Brooks played all of 3 games in LF, DHed 4 times, and pitched 42 times last year. I don't know where this comes from, but I hear people say it all the time. The guy played 26 innings in the field all season.

He played in 69 total games, 42 of them as a pitcher, so he was clearly used more as a pitcher (42) than a pinch-hitter/outfielder (27) in 2003. I never disputed your claim about this year.
