How is the selection order determined?

They lineup 30 turtles, each with a team logo stuck to it's shell, and then they race.

 

:plain Seems logical...

 

 

 

One thing I never see in a trade is this: draft picks. Does anyone know why? Is it custom or is it a rule saying you can't? Or is it something else?

One thing I never see in a trade is this: draft picks. Does anyone know why? Is it custom or is it a rule saying you can't? Or is it something else? You can't deal picks. They should change that.

I think the fish will go the usual way, Pitchers and Catchers.

 

there is some solid talent in the college ranks and the prep pitchers always tempt the Marlin FO.

Yeah I would like to see the Marlins take a Catcher as their 1st pick. Unless there is a pitcher that they just can't pass up.

BA said this is one of the weakest crops of high school talent in awhile, so expect to see a lot of college players chosen.

we might want a shortstop like they say you can never have enough pitching, although I agree we need hitting more, if there's a guy who's too good to pass up, you have to take him.
