May 23, 200422 yr Conine is hurting, and Jack knows he can keep Jeff out there only for so long. Same thing goes for Lenny. So you throw Conine at a less demanding spot, first base, and put OMGNUNEZ out there in left to show his stuff. I like it.

May 23, 200422 yr Although I think Conine is by far our best defensive outfielder (Cabs has an arm, Pierre has speed, neither have both or Conine's instincts) I hope he takes over for Cordero starting at 1st against lefties.

May 23, 200422 yr Pierre is by far the best outfielder on our team....hands down Pierre has NO arm and routinely gets bad reads on balls. Good thing for his speed that he can catch up.

Cabrera = Great throwing arm, good range. @_@ Huh? Jeff Conine has an average throwing arm at best, and has average range at best. Juan Pierre has a poor arm, but better range than anyone in baseball. Miguel has a great arm, above average range. Sorry, but no way in hell Conine is our best outfielder. If anything it's a tie between Cabrera and Pierre, because both bring different attributes to the table.
