nc marlin
whats the scouting on the kid's ability to call a game? Pretty good from what I've heard. The staff there at Carolina has performed really well. Where are you at in NC?

MarlinsMY
Matt Treanor is hitting .292 in AAA... I would rather try promoting him to the Marlins and move Willingham up to Albuquerque first. It looks like they are both doing well, but Jack McKeon did tell Matt that he would probably be promoted sometime...
Marlins2003
Tejera got lit up bigtime last night. 3+ innings, 12 hits, 10 runs. Sound familiar?

Shamrock
BTW Carolina scored 7ER off the guy that hadn't surrendered an ER in 50+ IP. Another guy to watch for next year is 1B/OF Pat Magness who has struggled with injuries, but is a pure hitter. He slugged 2HR last night and has upped his BA to 272. Oh, Willy also walked upping his OBP to 428. Thats jsut plain sick. And also good for 2nd in the Southern League.
Libelula
Tejera got lit up bigtime last night. 3+ innings, 12 hits, 10 runs. Sound familiar? The thing with the minors is that everything you do is watched closely. Especially when you're Michael Tejera. A pitcher trying to get back to the majors. I'm sure he felt like total crap after that game. It's certainly not gonna help him be brought back up.

I still say not to bring up willingham yet though this year.

I sure do hope so. That 2-2 game really hurt Willingham. Imagine him checking the box score. "s***. He got on base 4 times."
FreshFish
I hope Ramon is able to produce and stay with the team. Minors Lighting won't likely strike 3 times (Cabrera, Willis, ???)
