My team of forgotten Marlins

Featured Replies

For some reason, I was thinking of forgotten Marlins and I came up with this 25 man roster.... I just got bored and these names came to me off the top of my head. No researching any old rosters, so I'm sure I'm missing some great forgotten ex-Marlins. I tried to think of guys who saw significant playing time...

Thought I'd post this for fun.. Give some of the old school Marlin fans something to grin at...

Greg was awesome! He was my favorite Florida Marlins player. I have so many baseball cards of him. I went to meet him at this place in Ft. Lauderdale.. I have a few pictures taken with him and also Kurt Abbott!

I heard he signed a minor league contract, but I forgot which team it was :confused

GOOD LUCK COLBY :) :thumbup

Do you guys remember Chuck Carr?

Haha... You guys are throwing some great names out there. I didn't include Orestes Destrade, Greg Colbrunn, or Junior Felix cause, in my mind, those guys aren't forgotten...

I thought of this team, not because I think they are the best no names to play these positions, but because I thought some people would see their names and laugh.

I didn't include Nigel Wilson cause he didn't get significant playing time... I remember one year he was 0-16 with 11 k's, I believe.

Names that I did leave off (that you guys have mentioned) that I can't believe I didn't remember are:

Luis Aquino, Joe Orsulak, Richie Lewis, Jim Corsi, and Rich Scheid... How about Randy Knorr ?? He was a Marlin for a while..

Glad to see someone mentioned Walt Weiss :thumbup

And what about Terry Pendleton and Darren Daulton?? :whistle

anybody know what happened to Pat Rapp and what his stats were....i completely forget...but when i lived in florida i remeber allways watching him when the games were on sunshine network.......god that seems like a long time ago
