2005 Site Slogan Finals

Featured Replies

About two months ago, right after CapeFish offered "The Hunt for a Teal October,"

I began using in my sig' "The Hunt for Teal October." (I think Marlins2003 suggested dropping the word "a" and I agreed.)

For a month, I included "Credit CapeFish fight slogan."

I read herein, in unusually ugly fashion, that CapeFish may have stolen that slogan. (Worst thread ever.)

But, if CapeFish received inspiration from another member, it would be nice for him to acknowledge.

But, the fact is that he alone cared enough to actually propose it.

I had been using it at the end of last season. I never realized that it had been used in banners during the 1997 season. I am sure that if you search either some game threads or some wildcard threads from late 2004, you will find me using it.

Does it really matter?

"The Hunt for a Teal October" is a h*lluva good sig and represents for all of us what we want to see happen isn't it?

I like the other one as well but when it comes down to it, I wanna see our boys playing in the postseason.

The hunt for a teal October sounds better with an 'a'.

Either way, I voted for TBOTNLE :D
