He did well I thought this spring training.... had back to back games atleast with a homer

I thought so too. I was at one of those games; he had multiple hits, one of them a monster shot into the right field berm; he also made some great defensive plays at 1B. Even though it was against the Marlins, I was happy for him and hoped he would make the team.

Good luck, Andres.

Ever since i was like 8-9 ive been a big Andres Galarraga fan. I even had a poster of him in my room when he was with the Rockies. I still dont know till this day what happen to it and i wish i can find it. Anyway he was a great player and im glad i got to see him play against the marlins a few times at Dolphins Stadium.

Plus he beat cancer which is incredible.

Good Luck with whatever you do in your life Andres. You will always be known as the Big Cat.

I still remember that homer he hit a few years ago that got robbed, sucks to think that if it didn't get robbed, he would have retired as a member of the 400 HR club.

He was a great guy.

Sad thing is, his numbers this spring were better than, or roughly on par with the people we're expected to put on our bench.

Must say, it's surprising...

With all the new stars showing up at Mets Camp, Andres still got the warmest welcome from the crowd. Hopefully he sticks around in a mangagerial position.
