April 7, 200521 yr DP's are what killed us. Everything was in place to win the game but the offense let us down just like it did in 2004. If this trend continues of hitting into DP's and not scoring in key situations, there is only one man to blame. Not scoring runs with this lineup is unacceptable. But I'll reserve my judgement on the offense for another couple weeks. BUT I do think the offense was VERY patient when it came to the 1-6 hitters. I liked that.

And people may say that it should never have gotten to Bump in the first place, but what's going to happen if he was called upon earlier? Scary though. :plain

Im sure every Marlin (from Beinfest to McKeon to Delgado to any fan) would be pissed about a lose like this. A loss is a loss but this hurts because now we can lose the series with Hudson pitching.
