April 27, 200521 yr Rich Waltz said that tomorrows game is not on TV, and I just looked at my Tivo guide and FSN is showing the D-Rays/Jays game and PAX is showing Matlock and Diagnosis Murder re-runs. Cape?
April 27, 200521 yr Author it should be on mlbtv 755993 Last year when there were a couple Marlins games not on TV at all but still on MLB.TV, it was blacked out for me.
April 27, 200521 yr Hopefully it'll be on Directv! it says it will be in colorado unless their local channel blacks it out.. I have the MLB league pass

But if that is the case than that defeats the purpose of buying MLB league pass
April 27, 200521 yr Yeah I heard about this too. Looks like I'll be tuning into the AM tomorrow for my play by play :mischief

Last year when I tried to do mlbtv in september to watch a game it didnt work for that reason. This season I used a boston address and I get them all

But if that is the case than that defeats the purpose of buying MLB league pass 756022 Marlins games on MLB Extra Innings are always blacked out for people in Marlins territory. Same thing goes for NBA League Pass with Heat games and NHL Center Ice with Panthers games. It doesn't defeat the purpose because 99% of the time you can watch the game on local TV, the purpose of MLB Extra Innings is so you can watch every single out of market game.

Last year when I tried to do mlbtv in september to watch a game it didnt work for that reason. This season I used a boston address and I get them all 756034 I heard that despite where your address is, they automatically check your IP to see if you're in Marlins territory or not.

I am in boston now so I cant say that it would work. I do know when I used one of my cards that the miami address it did not let me watch a game (it wasnt even blacked out)
April 27, 200521 yr Just be grateful you can watch 100+ games a year. I see maybe a total of 20 innings a year.
April 27, 200521 yr Hey, at least you get to watch games. I've only seen 1-2 Marlins games on TV up here in Tallahassee, because those were on ESPN and TBS. I go home this weekend, but I've missed about a month of Marlins baseball.

I've gone through this before. What I did was VPN to my Company's main server in Charlotte, NC. That tricks MLB as they think I'm in NC (VPN changes your IP address). I'm almost certain that if the game is not on TV, anyone in Marlins territory will be blackout through MLB.com as well. VPN stands for Virtual Private Networking. It's used to connect to remote servers (it logs you in the remote network as if you were phisically inside). If anyone needs any more info, send me a message.

April 27, 200521 yr Author I've got a hockey game tonight so i'm going to miss it regardless, but hopefully i'll be able to watch it from the MLB.TV archives tomorrow.

I called up wanting to get New York games un-blacked out and tried to say I was going to College in Montana but am from NY so since I'm in MT, I want the games to be un-blacked out. They would have done it for me except they needed a land-line phone number to call to verify. So if you have any friends that live way off somewhere where you dont care about the games there, you're in luck.

When I ordered Extra Innings, I was blacked out...Is there any possible way to get the games? BTW, according to MLB.com, MLB.TV is blacked out here too. I found this by clicking blackout restrictions, and looking up the Marlins, and saw my area code there. Help?
