Posted June 8, 200519 yr Rumor out of Toronto is that the NHL will offer the Center Ice package to all providers for free and customers of those providers will be able to watch all televised NHL games (even those in Canada) for free. NHL Center Ice would carry broadcasts from FSN, Altitude, CBC, NBC, TSN, Rogers SportsNet, MSG, Turner South, NESN, Comcast SportsNet, and Sun Sports that would regular not be included in your local area's broadcasters.
June 8, 200519 yr Sounds great, but aren't they missing just a tiny, little, miniscule detail? There's no hockey going on.

June 8, 200519 yr you can get it with digital cable when i was living in philly the cable guy came out and while he was running the wires and stuff we gave him a couple beers and BSed ... he ended up hooking us up with NHL and MLB sports packages for free love the center ice, love the canadian broadcasts
June 8, 200519 yr That sounds like a pretty good deal. I have missed every single NHL game this season. It hasn't been that hard to do considering there is no such thing as the NHL. I still think college hockey is best anyway.
June 8, 200519 yr Brilliant move IMO -- especially is the NBA locks out. I expect to see alot more "fan friendly" moves such as this in the near future. Alot of giveaways at home games, buy one, get one free deals, etc. etc.
