very tru the staduim was going crazy it was great today in the Pro !

If we can get 7 strong innings out of our starters (even 6 innings)...who cares about our pen...we got bump, loop, and urbina to close the game out....throw in the occasional tejera, almanza, etc. and we are fine back there.

To be honest, I didn't expect the OF upper deck to have to open as much as it did. For the first time since game 7, someone was sitting in the outfield upperdeck.

20K and 17K is TWO very decent crowds, none the less one...

Looper has been lights out as of late.

It's been really good to see everyone so confident that they can win.

It seems like every night, something good happens, whether it's someone stepping up or in tonight's case Arizona not being able to execute that double play.

It was really a GREAT game, and I agree this game was crucial to keep gaining that fanbase. I can see a lot of people returning to the Pro since they were able to get a win tonight in front of 37,000 and not just a regular win but a very exciting and close game.

I'm new here, been a fan since 96. You guys seem great, real core fans.

I didn't even know there were any marlin fan sites on the internet, ha. I just thought it was flamarlins.com, sun-sentinel & herald's marlin section.

Awesome game. Loved the "Watchu talkin' 'bout Willis?" sign and picture in the crowd. Unbelievable job by Willis to settle down after the shaky first inning.

That sign was also up at his last start...

All the "K" signs on the walls made me feel great...

But the best thing of all, was not being able to see any orange or blue seats.

They also got a nice crowd on a week day. Hey, cape with todays attendace have the marlins moved up the avg. attendance ranks?

OK, this is according to ESPN.

2003 Attendance:

Home Games: 53

Total Attendance: 752,295

Percent Capacity: 39.1%

Rank (by Pct. Cap.): 27th [Moved 1 slot here]

Per-Game Average: 14,194

Rank (by Average): 28th [same Rank]

I'm not sure how many home games we have played so far. Isn't it 54.

The Reds attendance no doubt will start to drop due to their firesale.

Next year...They'll be Lucky to avg. 7,000 per game.
