June 16, 200521 yr Earlier a few people made comments about hating the Braves on the boards. I don't quite get it. Yes the Braves are a division rival but I don't get hating them. The only reason I can think people hate them is that they win the division year in and year out because I can't think of any bad blood between the Braves and Marlins. You can point to a few things between most of the other teams in the division. What are your feelings on hating the Braves?
June 16, 200521 yr Yes, I hate the Braves. They always win the N.L. East and get into the playoffs but then they can never do anything in the playoffs. So if you can't get it done in the playoffs then let a team like the Marlins, who have gone to the playoffs twice and have won the WS both times, win the division and go to the playoffs. But of course they always have to win the division, even when it doesn't make sense that they should.
June 16, 200521 yr I hate them with a passion. I can't stand the broadcasters they have, I can't stand TBS, I can't stand the fans they have, I can't stand the players they have, I hate the stadium they play in, I hate Bobby Cox, I hate the uniforms they wear. They could be in last place and they would still be my least favorite team. It dosen't help that the only Braves fan I know is a bias mofo either.
June 16, 200521 yr I'm going to the Reds game friday just to root against the Braves. Yes, I hate them.
June 16, 200521 yr Not really, I usually root for them in the playoffs because all the other teams are bleh. :peepwall
June 16, 200521 yr I hate the Phillies and the Mets more. The Braves just flat out have great managing and coaching. But I still hate the Braves.
June 16, 200521 yr my feelings against the braves go back to 1993 when i went to a marlins-braves game in miami. up to that point i had been a casual braves supporter, because they were the closest team geographically, on TV every night, and they trained in west palm beach. but from 1993 i was a marlins fan, so when i went to my 1st marlins-braves game in miami, and there were more braves fans than marlins fans, tomahawking and whooping it up, i felt the rivalry to the max. i respect a lot of their players and organization (how can you not, after what they've acheived in the past decade and a half) but they are still the enemy.

Go ahead call me a homer, I dare you!
June 16, 200521 yr Hate is a strong word...I dislike them VERY much. But I only dislike them because they win year in and year out, so I guess I'm just bitter. I admit it.
June 16, 200521 yr Does a bear crap in the woods? I'm glad Nats are in first place if only because that means Atlanta isn't.
June 16, 200521 yr I dislike the Braves, but there's only 3 teams I actually hate. Those are the Phillies, Mets, and another team that will remain anonymous.
June 16, 200521 yr and another team that will remain anonymous. 812246[/snapback] hmm is it the Red Sox?
