They had an even bigger inning this season against the Devil Rays after George made that speech saying ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! I forgot exactly how many runs they scored in one inning that game, but I know it was atleast 10. And with the Yankees offense, you should expect them to break out every once in a while. 9 runs is still GREAT however. The only thing is that it's just 1 win, and it's against the worst team in the A.L., so it's no big deal.

If the Yankees want to make it to the playoffs then they need to start beating up on the Devil Rays. They suck and the Yankees get to play them a lot. The Yankees are now 3-5 against the Devil Rays this season. That is absolutely unnacceptable for them if they want to make the playoffs. When you have a team that sucks in your division you need to beat the sh!t out of them!

And if you don't beat up on the bad teams, then of coarse you're not going to beat up on the good teams. And that's why they're 2-3 against the Red Sox and they have yet to beat the Orioles--they're 0-3 against them this season.

So the Yankees need to start beating up on the bad teams like the Devil Rays, or they won't make the playoffs. And I don't think they'll make the playoffs this season.

Unbelievable, I can't believe it...... Couldn't they just use like 2 runs from tonight for last night's 1 run loss?

That's exactly how us Marlins fans feel :lol :lol :lol :lol

If the yankees can win 4-5 more games on their homestand then maybe they will get things back on track. I would like to see a 3 team race down the stretch

Congrats, now you get to play a rubber game against the worst team in baseball! Yea Yanks, they are so awesome!

Crazy. I left the room when it was 11-7 Devils Rays and came back and saw it was 20-11 Yankees, I was like WTF??!?

Yeah, i was actually watching this game over the Marlins/Braves once it became 3-0. Then I turned over to the basketball game in the middle of the 8th. Saw this headline on ESPN.com a few minutes ago and was like holy sh!t!!

Funny part is Yankee fans are going to have their hopes up after this one. This one inning tonight is going to mean they are not going to slump the rest of the season. Always remember...it's only one game. Counts the same winning by 1, 2, or 9 and scoring a gazillion runs.

Congrats, now you get to play a rubber game against the worst team in baseball! Yea Yanks, they are so awesome!

But you can do better than 3-6 against the D Rays....

Robinson Cano is going to be an all star second basemen if he learns to take some pitches.

Here come the Devil Rays!!!
