knglover
Isn't it wrong for a guy to be making comments to fans about teams he would consider playing for? Well let me tell you briefly what went down last night after the huge victory at RFK. After the game All the Marlins fans were standing around the dugout. Loria was personally thanking and congratulating Dontrelle for his achievement. AJ was standing about 35 feet from them talking to someone in the crowd. When AJ was done he walked towards the dugout and stoped like he was going to autograph a few things. He pointed to one woman and said "she is the only one that I am signing for" and with that she walked up to him and presented him with a Nationals Jersey which he gladly signed. I questioned him on this by saying "AJ, come on man thats sacrilege, isn't it?" To which he replied "whatever man, I would love to pitch here next year this place has fans that come to every game, not like at home! Besides, you never know, this could be a premonition or something." I just found him to be sarcastic and just rude in general. I have been to every game up here and have had some interaction D-train, Beckett, Andino, Cabs, and Todd Jones. they all were as polite as can be expected. I was really anticipating the chance that we had to resign AJ until last night. I now believe that there is zero chance he is back next year and I can honestly say good ridence! prinmemito
He's good as gone. Whatever, we don't need to pay $10 million per year for a guy that gets injured all the time and never comes close to living up to his potential. And I've heard he's an ass from multiple sources. The other guys all have good reps with fans - DTrain, Josh, Cabs are all really courteous with people, and not rude like AJ.

AJ is going to be crushed in a hitters park.
JonDigital
AJ has been very 2 faced this year. One minute he is the clubhouse pickmeup (right around and after the trade deadline) and the next he is slamming his fans. Guess we can kiss him goodbye next year even if we offer him enough. He wants to pitch in front of tons of fans
Mabdul Doobakus
He's been annoying, whiny, and almost hostile to Marlins fans all year. I won't miss him at all.
legacyofCangelosi
I dont blame AJ about the attendance situation. some of our own out of state fans have no clue about the complexities of the attendance situation, so we shouldnt expect some dude from california ( is that where aj is from?) to have any idea about the logistics of our fine city

CanadianFishFan
I don't care if he's an ass. Just win the games you start and you can be as ignorant as you want. What do I care, you won't be on my team next year. If that is an accurate account of what happened last night, I can't imagine he is a good person to have around our players. SonataArctica121
Hate him all you want, the truth is, he is one of the 3 aces we need for a shot at the play offs, he can be rude to the fans all he wants for this year, as long as he is winning I could care less cause this is his last year! Guest Moneyball
Sometimes I'm glad he didn't pitch much in 2003. I actually felt sorry for the guy after 2003.
