November 3, 200520 yr A.J. Burnett met with the Blue Jays in Toronto yesterday and took in the Raptors game with Roy Halladay. "I'm so impressed with the front office here and J.P and the people I've met," Burnett said. "It's night and day from what I'm used to (in Florida). They're all good people and it's been great so far." It's unclear where Burnett's following tour stop is. The Blue Jays are expected to woo B.J. Ryan next. November 3, 200520 yr Its going to be fun watching burnett suck somewhere else. or become the 20 game winner we hoped to have true...if that happens wow I and alot of other people will be pissed. I always liked AJ until he started talking trash. but belive he has the potential to be good. hopefully im wrong and he's a bust.
November 3, 200520 yr Let's see if he goes to the American League with the designated hitter and has to face legitimate nine batters. As for his trash-talking, did anyone really expect otherwise?
November 3, 200520 yr Regardless of his comments, I wish the best of luck to him. I rarely follow players after they leave my team, but I will still be following and rooting for AJ. As a pitcher myself, it's great to watch a pitcher with such amazing stuff on the mound. Just imagine how good he could be if his head wasn't stuck up his ass.

November 3, 200520 yr I can see the headlines now.... "Toronto Blue Jays pitcher AJ Burnett, an American, is deported from Canada after going 5-12 with Canada's sole baseball franchise. High sources in Ottawa point that he was not paying Ontario Income Taxes claiming to be exempt due to not being a resident of Ontario. The $12 million Canadian contract would come out to $3 million US after currency and taxation concerns are included."
November 3, 200520 yr I hope he signs with the Jays or a NL team... When he comes to the stadium I am going to RIP him a new asswhole!!! He will have more wholes to stick his fingers in We get the Jays in interleague at home this season....
November 3, 200520 yr I hope his arm gets frost bite up in Canada. I hope his c**k gets frost bite up in Canada.
November 3, 200520 yr *By the order of the French Canadian Bilingual Laws on Equal Media* Je peux voir les titres maintenant....
November 4, 200520 yr I want to go somewhere where I [can] win. I want to go somewhere where the fans want to win as much as I want to win and the club wants to win as much as I want to win. And they've showed me that so far." Sure, all this BS from a guy with a 49-50 career record.

And they've showed me that so far." LOL!! :lol Aj wants to win and he could sign with the Jays??? Give me a break, that why Carlos left you dumbass! Oh yea btw AJ The Jays are in the AL East, they got a reaaaal good shot at winning there!
November 4, 200520 yr When AJ says he wants to go to a team and win, he means(IMO), he wants to go to a young team with alot of young talent and [try] to lead them to a world series. Like Josh Beckett in 2003. Whom he has always been jealous of.
