Posted August 21, 200321 yr AGon is about as effective as a wet fart at the plate and his production has consistently dropped off for the last three months or so.....Is it time for a change?
August 21, 200321 yr AGon because he is solid at defense and with the wat Cabs is swingin the bat, we dont need to worry to much
August 21, 200321 yr AGon is about as effective as a wet fart at the plate and his production has consistently dropped off for the last three months or so.....Is it time for a change? In the right situation, a wet fart can be very productive
August 21, 200321 yr we know where i stand i forgot, where? (hopefully your not standing behind the wet fart)    OH, just noticed the sig........ :confused but seriously, watch out for the wetties
August 21, 200321 yr i forgot, where? (hopefully your not standing behind the wet fart)    OH, just noticed the sig........ :confused but seriously, watch out for the wetties lol...I love that :rofl
August 21, 200321 yr A-gon, almost every game he wows me with his glove, and i still have faith that he can hit, come on mang!
August 21, 200321 yr If he was an outfielder, I would be eager for him to take some days off. But, since he's a shortstop and his defense is needed in a everyday basis, I vote for him to stay.
August 21, 200321 yr In the right situation, a wet fart can be very productive :lol :lol :lol  good stuff
August 21, 200321 yr Alex should stay at first. Fox and Mordi cant hit if there life depended on it. Mordi got a lucky Homerun and thats the biggest thing he did and when they put him to play he goes 0-3. Fox is the same thing. Alex is very good at defense and produced a whole lot for us in the 1st half. He will put things together...
August 21, 200321 yr didnt Mordy have a bases clearing double vs the Padres? and a double the other way PH?
August 21, 200321 yr Alex Gonzalez is the better batter. He's in a major slump. I dont expect him to break out of the slump batting .330 or anything, but when he isnt slumping, he can definitely bat for better than .215 (Mordi's average). I just don't see Mordecai producing very well at all having to play every day (or even 4 or 5 games a week).
August 21, 200321 yr Sea Bass at short. No questions. Fox and Morde can't match his glove and Cabs has outgrown the position, that is why he was put to play third and now LF.
August 21, 200321 yr well atleast give Alex another day off.... something is going on in his head.... atleast i think
August 21, 200321 yr I dont mind giving Alex a day off here and there. Heck I dont mind giving Mordi 1 or 2 starts a week...but Alex is our starter.
August 22, 200321 yr You would think Coors Field would be the easiest place to end an 0-fer. I'm amazed at how not good our offense has been in Coors. As for the SS debate, A-Gon should be ther starter there. No Contest. This is pretty much the same situation as the Banks/Lee debate at first.
August 22, 200321 yr i agree gee, i just think maybe Alex needs atleast 2 days off a week until the bat comes back around
August 22, 200321 yr 2 days a week is too much, especially as bad as Mordecai and Fox have hit this year. Mordecai hit a couple of huge HRs but they're hitting a combined .206. They'd have to get hot just to get up to where Gonzalez has slumped to. And that's not even mentioning the huge defensive drop off. I wouldn't mind seeing Gonzalez get 2 straight games off, but just once to try to snap him out of it, not every week. If he doesn't snap out of it, we'll just have to suffer with him. He's the best we got.
